Wow! What a cool 4th of July celebration and parade y’all have. There are small parades and celebrations around here but they aren’t much to see or attend. Sad.
The sign on the base of the Veteran’s Memorial is so true. So many veterans HAVE seen what the protected will never know.
God bless them all and give them peace of mind and heart.
It rained all night last night. Possible high 60s for a couple days and then more rain, maybe.
Who the heck knows?? LOL!
She asked to go out this evening, so spent about an hour out there.
I’m hoping that with me home for 3 days it will help a little as I can be right there. Already this evening she called me because some of them were standing in the very doorway I was standing in.

The last time I checked the AK radar last night, it looked GOOD for y’all. The Fairbanks radar looked good, too, and it was headed your way.
It certainly looked dismal down here and still does. We MIGHT get some rain in this part of the state Sunday and I pray we do. Just came in from watering the flowers a bit and they should be good a couple of days.
Maybe having you home will help a bit. Being alone all day probably doesn’t help her situation. No one to talk her down on the spot.
But then you WERE standing in the doorway with the others tonight, weren’t you? LOL!
You do have your hands full but maybe things will be a little calmer over the weekend.

I need a little calm....next week is a day short and twice the usual timesheets to process. Tuesday night could be VERY long. We put out a notice that because of the short week there will be NO time for corrections. Any will be done the following week.
Turtle hunting season is over. Too hot to hunt for turtles.
No family coming for the 4th. Just me and Bo.
They’re hitting you with the double number timesheets already?????? Next week, of all weeks?????? Sheesh!! They must be outta their minds!!!!!!!
I hope and pray you get the calm you need this weekend. You need it in general but with that fiasco coming up, you REALLY need it.
