Looks like that Airport meeting was even more important than we realized.

I would love to see this smug, immoral, unqualified, corrupt woman in Federal prison with a 30 year sentence.

Yeh right....The decision has already been made. What do you think the meeting was about.

Bet she slipped him a thumb drive with specific instructions on what Hillary should say about the emails.

I knew it! That meeting with the Toon was to give her the excuse to recuse herself and dodge the need to fall on her sword. No hot potato (or potatoe) for her!

The investigators have already been told how it is going to be.

Let’s imagine crime boss John Gotti is under investigation and he sees the head of the prosecuting attorney’s office sitting at a table in a restaurant. He walks over and sits at the table. What should the prosecutor do? If he’s smart, he stands up, tosses some cash on the table and walks out the door. Lynch should have nodded, smiled and declined to meet with Clinton. Both of them are trained lawyers. Both of them know how it would look. The fact that Bill intentionally took this risk means he really is concerned that probably both he and Hillary will end up in prison. The fact that Lynch agreed to meet in private, dismissing their entourages implies she is open to negotiation. This stinks to the heavens and both of them would have known that going in.

The fact that Lynch used the adverb “primarily” (talked about their grand kids) leaves open the possibility that something else was discussed. Probably a Supreme court appointment for Lynch should Hillary become president. Lynch should realize that if it did happen this meeting would dog her to her dying day.

Trump should say/aannounce during the 1 st debate, that he will appoint someone...sri not sure about yr legal system, that will rip apart the Clinton crime syndicate and ensure that if there is any wrong doing, they go to trial and if guilty Jail for as long as the Judge says.

A jail sentence in the hundreds of years, would help to cleanse the entire system...he has to do it for the good of the nation.

Rush suggested something like this; that she going to be replaced by an even friendlier judge. My only problem with that theory is who could be more incompetent, corrupt, or pushing of a 3rd Obama term (Hillary) than this affirmative-action appointee?

You mean the same career justice department lawyers that extended things 27 months? That is who she is turning it over to?

Mentioned on another thread perhaps this was the end game for Clintons. Taking Loretta at her word, there is a possibility this was a move by clintons to get her off the case because they thought the odds were not in their favor.

Not defending loretta or even suggesting we take her at her word. Only a fool would take her at her word. Trying to think like a clinton & would not put it past them.

Next question: did she recuse on her own or at Obama’s request? Important because no way in hell does Obama want an indictment. Not suggesting he is in cahoots with Clinton—only that he saw an opportunity and ran with it.

This is how it went down. Lynch tells Hillary and Obama she IS going to bring charges against her. Bill meets with Lynch knowing it will disqualify her. She steps down and then the replacement is already committed to not bringing charges or because that person will need time to get up to speed, that person won’t bring charges until after the election.

The FBI director is an appointed position. It appears that the prosecutors from the Justice Department are also appointees. All appointees are political, so I’m not sure what sort of distinction they are trying to draw, except perhaps that this reeks and they don’t want to damage Lynch’s career.
