Ryan: Whether to support Trump or not is up to delegates
Washington Examiner ^ | June 19, 2016 | John Siciliano

House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., says he has no influence over Republican convention delegates' decisions on whether to change their minds about supporting Donald Trump.

Ryan, who endorsed Trump earlier this month, is the convention's chairman. But he told NBC's "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd, "It is not my job to tell delegates to do, what not to do, or to weigh in on things like that. They write the rules. They make their decisions."

Asked for his opinion on the matter, Ryan said, "My opinion is not relevant here."

Trump reaffirmed Sunday that he can win the presidency whether the Republican Party gets behind his candidacy or not.

I won’t be voting for their choice because a party that cares so little about the will of its voters doesn’t represent me.

Trump needs to call in Ryan and mcsellout and say ladies shut your pie holes. If you don’t and it looks like you are going to cost me the election I am going to tell all my supporters to vote against a Republican Congress that your behavior during this election has shown you can’t be trusted by conservatives or the country.

We’ve tried the soap box. That failed because socialists infiltrated the media and academia, so democrat socialism’s corruption spread in our country.

We’ve tried the jury box. Corrupt abusers of power (like Lois Lerner) and corrupt violators of classification laws (like Hillary) won’t get indicted by the corrupt Justice Department.

We’re trying the ballot box, but corruption in the GOP seems to be an issue.

Do big government liberals on the left and on the right, freedom’s natural enemies, really want to find out what’s next?

It’s not certain the Uniparty would care. The Dems and GOP have the same goals. No matter which party wins, the Uniparty wins.

Hey you've gotta give Mullah Ryan a break! He's busy working on additional funding for Obama's CVE Program!

Obama's CVE Program Is an Outrage -- and the Republicans Are Funding It

...

The theory behind Countering Violent Extremism -- the theory of the strategy -- is that, number one, Muslim communities have uniformly rejected terrorism so we don't need to investigate them. We don't need to, because they're a religion of peace. Remember now, you think it's a joke, but Obama and the Democrats, when they say, "Terrorism has nothing to do with Islam; it's a bastardization; Islam is a religion of peace. All these people out there, ISIS, ISIL, claiming to do what they're doing for Islam? They are not Islamists! They are extremists; they are not Muslim."

The acting belief, philosophy, policy of the United States government is Muslim communities have uniformly rejected terrorism; therefore, they don't need to be monitored or investigated. Number two. Instead of aggressively collecting intelligence with radical Islamic communities and suspects who could cause a threat, the FBI... Are you sitting down? The FBI is required to partner with "Muslim community leaders," who are essentially members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The CVE: Learn it, live it! And your Republican Party House Leaders are voting $40,000,000 of additional funding for it!

Ain't it grand?

” I want to move to Russia.”

” I watched a “Bizarre Foods” with Andrew Zimmern in St. Petersburg, Russia and there was nothing bizarre about it. Everything was delicious and he had a blast. “

“Ah... cuuuuuuuuse me... but are you on the wrong thread?”

” I addressed a post to someone else, whyvthe concern? “

” And the wrong country. “

Last I saw, “geniuses”, St. Petersburg, Russia, is still in Russia.

Done playing “Conversation Cop?” Because I’m not impressed.

So you have a better explanation for Ryan’s seemingly dual role as hot and cold on Trump...

When has Ryan been “hot” on Trump? His limp-wristed endorsement was tepid at best.

Two more items for you to think about.

One, when Ryan called Trump a racist, R was repeating a Dem/liberal LIE/smear. Trump is not a racist, nor were his factual comments re the LaRaza judge racist. How does it help down ticket pols to have the GOP Speaker repeating and validating Dem LIES?

Two, why does Ryan undercut Trump more than he attacks Mrs. Clinton? What would help down ticket Republicans more: to have their own Speaker backstabbing their own nominee, or for their Speaker to relentlessly point out what a disaster for the country Hillary would be?

“Ryan is Brutus to Trump’s Caesar ...."

Brutus was for the Republic; Caesar for himself. Remember? "This was the noblest Roman of them all ...." You need a better analogy.

Pop man is absolutely correct in what he says. The millions of voters have zero sway on the districts pop man refers to. Millions yes but district by district not a minute amount of sway. The voters within those districts decide who represents the district in Congress not the millions you presume

If the anti-GOP incumbent movement were strong enough to unseat a significant number of them, you’d be correct.
