House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., says he has no influence over Republican convention delegates' decisions on whether to change their minds about supporting Donald Trump.
Ryan, who endorsed Trump earlier this month, is the convention's chairman. But he told NBC's "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd, "It is not my job to tell delegates to do, what not to do, or to weigh in on things like that. They write the rules. They make their decisions."
Asked for his opinion on the matter, Ryan said, "My opinion is not relevant here."
Trump reaffirmed Sunday that he can win the presidency whether the Republican Party gets behind his candidacy or not.

That #NeverTrump weasel Bill Kristol considers this a victory. Of course he's delusional, and in the rare case they pull this off, I will not vote for their candidate. I don't believe they will, but if they do, I will write in Trump (as will most who voted for Trump I assume).

If he thought there needed to be another choice, the assclown should have run. He would have been embarrassed like the rest of the GOPe candidates.
All I can say is that if the delegates don’t vote on the first ballot at the convention based on the voters’ choice, the Republican Party will never recover, and Hillary Clinton will be elected President.
I watched a “Bizarre Foods” with Andrew Zimmern in St. Petersburg, Russia and there was nothing bizarre about it. Everything was delicious and he had a blast.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict the effort to prevent Trump the nomination will be massive. Almost all the GOPe sound like they’re trying to build plausible deniability. It’s sounding like it’s gonna work exactly like Congress works. Figure out who can outwardly defy Trump while suffering minimal damage, while the rattlesnakes and polecats work behind the scenes try to keep their hands clean. If they do as I think then their will be a monumental political reckoning. At least I hope so.
Ryan may end up being Hillary’s running mate.
Just had a quick look at your posting history; you are indeed an anti-Trump troll. You take great care in posting as many negative Trump pieces you can find...even if it means citing nor to try and make your point. You provide yourself cover by simply claiming “concern.”
