RNC Chairman Reince Priebus tapped former congressman Enid Mickelsen to chair the all-important rules committee during the convention.
Just two weeks ago, Enid had this to say about the presidential race:

She has also spoken approvingly of the idea that the rules could be changed to allow delegates to vote for someone other than a candidate they are bound to by result of primary or caucus.
It's unkown if Trump was consulted about the choice.

I agree, but the broader point is that our allies will not agree with us 100% of the time. I insist on a choice that opposes Amnesty, opposes Obamacare, and supports something close to a literal, originalist reading of the Second Amendment, since those three are critical for our country's survival. Otherwise, I'm pretty flexible, even on issues I consider important.
Even on the top three issues, I have a small amount of flexibility. Cruz has said dumb things on Amnesty, even though he is right most of the time on that issue and other key issues. Trump has said dumb things recently on the Second Amendment, even though he is right most of the time on that issue and other key issues. Kasich/Jeb/Rubio have said dumb things on all three issues, and all three politicians are wrong almost all of the time on those issues. That's why Cruz and Trump are worth considering and the three establishment choices failed so spectacularly.

When it all comes to naught and judgment is passed on it all, those who will be found to be complicit in this country's destruction, WHO SHOULD HAVE F'N KNOWN BETTER, will be Republicans.
There is SOME merit to what you wrote... in a *normal* election year.
This is not that.
In this election, if the convention goes RINO, those who created the situation know damned well they would depress the Republican vote by anywhere from 25% to 40%.
There would not be even one Republican dog-catcher who would win.
This would be, instead, an Establishment torpedo intended to elect the only known Establishment candidate.
The result would be A) Every gun banned. B) Mandatory transexual operations whether you were tranny or not. C) Mass land seizures. D) Criminalization of being Caucasian. E) Increases of Illegal Immigrants to fully 45% of the population.
This is not a normal election year.

From what I’ve read today there is one woman from Ohio who is stirring up problems. She says she has 200 people on her team. I doubt it.
Hildy was on another thread. She has been appointed to one of the committees and knows many of the others.
Hopefully she can keep us all abreast of what’s really going on and what is being created to sell newspapers.
I wish you guys would give us Trumo delegates a little credit. Do you really think we will allow this to be taken away? PSHAW!
