Donald Trump's favorite nickname for the news media is the "dishonest press." He swaps in "disgusting press" from time to time.
And sometimes, he puts it all together: "disgusting, dishonest human beings."
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has a whole menu of takedowns for individual reporters and news organizations. In recent weeks, he's used his microphone and his tweets to label them "third-rate," ''not nice," "disgraceful," "phony," "low-life," "very unprofessional" and "bad people." Or, for extra emphasis in a tweet, "BAD."

Trump seems to be perpetually mad at the press, but there's a method to his madness.
He sees little downside to bashing the media - and plenty of potential benefits.

Trumps statements only work, because people believe them to be true.
Don’t blame Trump, blame the members of the press who brought us to this point. The point where most Americans believe the press is dishonest.
What Trump is doing is exactly what all GOP worth anything should’ve been doing for a long time. Instead we have House and Senator “leaders” who run out to magnify msm and leftwing false narratives. I’d like to see Trump start hitting the failed GOP leadership.
Is complaining about alleged "takedowns" the solution? Every single time Donald Trump calls out the reporters he has an mountain of evidence to support his assertion.
But the press demonstrates its incompetence by complaining about his microphone and tweets.
The press has no substance, and, to make it worse, just complains. To them, the end is all important; their dishonest means matter not. They are not being paid to be honest and forthright.
Thirty years of experience watching the press lie on a daily basis might have something to do with the impression most of us have.
And the media’s contempt for him ISN’T????
The difference is, a presidential candidate, by his very nature, is supposed to be partisan. Journalists are not.
They just can’t face the fact that most people distrust and hate them because the are paid liars - prostitutes. They are given their stories before they leave the office and they just go out and cherry pick (or simply invent) “facts” that support the story. So to feel better here clown is pretending that Trump’s contempt for them is just a ploy and he really doesn’t mean it. Pathetic. But then all criminals invent fantasies to justify themselves.
Jim has set the bar for what he allows to appear here from various news organizations. Why not ban articles from the NYTimes, CNN, and WaPo?
Jim is doing OK. I totally avoid CNN, PMSNBC, the Times, the WaPO, and the entire MSM. This keeps my blood pressure under control. The selected articles that show up here, keep me up to date with current LEFT WING garbage.
Dr, Goebbels does seem to control the MSM, but allows them to spew their nonsense, each in their own way, giving the illusion of “independent thought”.

All republicans voted against the most massive increase in welfare, marketed as Obamacare, that the country has seen in 50 years—this was the most grievous theft of taxpayer money of BO’s admin. We will see if they stand firm on stopping the SCOTUS appointments.
