If your only approved educational tool is the Koran which teaches all these violent tribal strategies as part of the religious tenets, then the backwardness of the Islamic societies will continue as will their rejection of modern civilizations which are not Islamic.
I wish Greenfield had written more about the eductaion issue as a basic cause of the failure to reform.
If I remember correctly about 60% of muslims are illiterate. Therefore they can’t actually read the koran. They just rely on the imams to tell them what it says. Keeping the population stupid is part of the plan.
That’s the party line but I have known quite a few and they certainly did not hold that view.
Your inability to split off the radicals from the great mass of Muslims denotes general ignorance. And don’t tell me what you read in the Koran. For many if not most, it simply doesn’t apply.
