If I remember correctly about 60% of muslims are illiterate. Therefore they can’t actually read the koran. They just rely on the imams to tell them what it says. Keeping the population stupid is part of the plan.

Illiteracy is irrelevant. If they CAN read the Koran, they will learn that Mohammad said that Allah commanded the Muslins to kill (literally burn, behead or crucify) any and all unbelievers or to enslave them if they refused to convert to Islam.

The words are there in the Koran so if they follow the religion literally, they commit to jihad against unbelievers.
