A woman in Pakistan burned her 17-year-old daughter alive on Wednesday to punish her for marrying against the family's wishes, the latest in a series of so-called "honor killings" that claim the lives of nearly 1,000 women every year in the conservative [sic] Muslim country.

Responding forcefully to honor killers is of course, good. But what is more effective is a propaganda campaign against them.
That is, at the same time holding up the victims as good people, disparage their murderers as primitive, barbaric, unclean, filthy, stupid people who should be shunned as having no honor or decency. Let the public know that honor killers should be publicly cursed and despised.
There is a lot of cultural specific twists to this, but the end result should be that the killers are socially shunned, even forbidden from entering mosques.
This sort of thing can happen after centuries of interbreeding.
The whole family should be BBQ’d on live TV as a lesson to the masses. After a while the message might sink in.
What if that part of the world had a version of “2nd Amendment Sisters”?
