You know the phones in DC are burning up with panicked leftists when ABC actually broadcasts this news segment on Good Morning America.
They, and “they” includes DOJ-CRS Head Grande Lum, are just beginning to understand how much more politically effective Donald Trump is as their adversary. Trump is using their own strategies against them. They do not have a playbook to defend against sunlight on their own behavior.
The San Jose Police Chief has admitted to allowing the Trump supporters to be attacked. Chief Garcia is now trying to justify his decision. Read the comments section HERE to see the scope of the backlash in CA.
President Obama is now quickly trying to distance his political supporters from their violence and requesting they stop: “We saw in San Jose these protesters starting to pelt stuff on Trump supporters. That’s not what our democracy is about. That’s not what you do. There’s no room for violence”

That’s correct...You should always have a plan for most anything that could happen...Of course, you really don’t know what you would do until faced with the situation...I was that way in the military about combat...But I got my answer pretty quick in Vietnam...

They are excellent at organizational skills and logistics in building political movements...as well as manipulating the media and people...
To underestimate their ability is a serious miscalculation...

I use to assume people who advocated violence were undercover cops or FBI agents... and I blew it off as part of their job... but now I feel some of the people who could be advocating violence might be part of these shadow groups. All of us need to be warned that violence plays into the hands of the thugs...

Alleged Offenses could include: Violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §241 – Conspiracy Against Constitutional Rights – which prohibits in relevant part, “two or more persons (from conspiring) to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same . . .” See, 18 U.S.C. §241.
True. The main problem I find in dire situations is getting past the initial shock. The shock of the unexpected can incapacitate one for a period of time. I hope knowing that and remembering it will benefit me next time I am faced with sudden chaos.
I think the young woman who moved to where there were lots of cameras, held her ground and refused to cower did the right thing.
Plenty of faces on film. The one video shows a uniformed man filming it. I’m fine with arresting them after the event.
My first thought was She was undercover. Her “egging them on” as someone commented was TOO conjectured!
Thanks for the reference, but that looks like an opinion by a court. As an opinion, it has no force of law. Only a legislature can pass a law.
Follow the money. The courts are part of the king's realm, and if the courts go against the king, the king will find new judges. The principle of "the king can do no wrong" is the default for civil claims. The government can allow itself to be sued. See "1983" civil rights actions, which are named after the statute that creates the right to sue.
They have no duty to act, so the reason for inaction is completely irrelevant.
There might be political ramifications, the policeman might get fired, but he isn't liable in court, for damages.
It was a bunch of court opinions. I don’t know what you mean by has no force of law. My point is that courts won’t find the police liable for inaction. I know of no statute on that point, on account of it’s the court’s prerogative to apply legal principles that the courts invent.
Yeah, it’s possible she lured them there for the cameras. I’m glad she did. She might have a case for a lawsuit.
These attacks so not just appear out of nowhere... this stuff comes from the top down. It comes from the police being told to stand down just like the military was told to stand down at Benghazi. There is NOTHING that happens that this community organizer is not aware of... he makes the decisions and then blames everyone else.. “who me?”
He wants these attacks to continue.. so does all the left.. they think it serves them well. One thing they didn’t count on was the deep anger that has brought Trump to the forefront.. and they didn’t count on it lasting. They didn’t count on it making him President either. And they are badly handling these attacks. I don’t see how a policeman who takes the oath, to stand by and let persons being attacked by those illegal, rats.
A senior in high school knows how to defy the administration and sing the Lord’s Prayer anyway, but an adult can’t do defy the stupidity of a mayor and protect those his job calls for to protect ... yea I know it’s his job on the line ... ALL of them can’t lose their jobs.. they can’t run a city if ALL of them are fired.. somewhere, someday, we have to take a stand against tyranny. To give in is to grow it into total control, and we are not far from that now.
To see a woman being pelted with eggs and to keep that door shut so she could not get in was unbelievable... so was seeing the rat with the mexican flag, standing on OUR land.. and crucifying all we stand for.. with lies. They have no right to be here.. they have no right to exist.
The San Jose paper was tsk-tsking the anti-Trump protesters and went so far as to say they they were attacking the pro-Trump protesters! Alice of Wonderland fame would fit right in there.

Get to a safe place where there are other witnesses.

There could be a silver lining. That would be if Black Lives Matter thugs and La Raza thugs go at it and police just stand there and enjoy the fireworks.
No, it just means that the police have no legal duty to come to your aid. They might, and they might not. Same as for private security, but you can sue them for breach of contract or something.
It isn't unusual for the cops to stand down. See LA riots, and the current "slowdown" in Baltimore.
#BLM and La Raza thugs have an informal immunity, the politicians don't want to answer for law enforcement action against those particular groups of thugs and shake-down artists. See too, SEIU thugs.
It’s time for a complete takeover of CA. Remove all politicians from office and install Martial Law. Then the hard work of removing all anchor babies and illegals. All of them. None spared.
