Donald Trump fired back Tuesday at reports questioning his fundraising haul from a high-profile veterans event in January, releasing an extensive list of charities he said received the donations -- and slamming the media for questioning him.
During a press conference at Trump Tower, the presumptive Republican nominee said he's raised $5.6 million and more is coming in.
He rattled off the list of charities and the amounts they received, while taking scathing and sometimes-personal shots at the media for pressuring him to disclose the information.
“I have never received such bad publicity for doing such a good job,” Trump said. He added, “The press should be ashamed of themselves.”
The list contained dozens of groups including the Fisher House Foundation and the Green Beret Foundation, which received $115,000 and $350,000, respectively.
In between detailing the recipients, Trump also called members of the media “losers” and complained they treated him unfairly. “I don't want the credit for it, but I shouldn't be lambasted,” Trump said, explaining why he named the charities and the donation amounts.
In January, donors sent money to the Donald J. Trump Foundation when the billionaire businessman held a fundraiser in Iowa – the same night he skipped a Fox News Republican debate. He said they raised $6 million and pledged to give the proceeds of the event to charity.
He also pledged to kick in $1 million of his own money to the cause.
The campaign for months, though, would not disclose which charities got the money, amid speculation that the fundraising haul was not as large as he claimed.
But last week, Lewandowski told “CBS This Morning” that Trump will ultimately give $5.5 million to $6 million to veteran groups. Lewandowski said $4.5 million had already been “attributed.”

Right now Hillary is just pretending to be running. She does the bare minimum necessary to appear to be in the race but nothing more. She knows it's all for show at this point, that the rigged nomination is hers and she's pacing herself. And probably a smart strategy because to see and hear Hillary is to innately dislike her.
But it's true that when she does show up it's just warmed over rhetoric from the same old playbook. Boring.
Lots of people donated to the Clinton Foundation with good intentions. Who would've thought then that it would turn into the slush fund that it is now?
Clinton Foundation’s chickens coming home to roost in Haiti?

Haitian Scandal #1:
Haitian activists protested outside of the Clinton Foundation in New York over the loss of “billions of dollars” that was meant to help rebuild after the devastating 2010 earthquake.
The activists are claiming the money was stolen through the Haiti Reconstruction Commission that was headed by Bill Clinton. In January 2015, the Clinton Foundation was the target of protests for wasting more than $10 billion and awarding contracts to non-Haitian companies.
The activists also said Haiti as a cover for foreign governments to funnel kickbacks of hundreds of millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation. They believe that this was done for favors that Hillary was doing for the foreign governments while she was Secretary of State.
“We are telling the world of the crimes that Bill and Hillary Clinton are responsible for in Haiti,” said Dhoud Andre of the Committee Against Dictatorship in Haiti. “And we are telling the American people that the over 32,000 emails that Hillary Clinton said she deleted have evidence of the crimes they have committed.”
Haitian Scandal #2:
Tony Rodham, “a former repo man, prison guard and private detective,” as the Post notes, attended an event at the Clinton Global Initiative and happened to meet a Haitian wheeler-dealer (who had paid $20 grand to attend). Rodham signed up as a member of the advisory board of a proposed gold mine in Haiti.
In December 2012, VCS won one of the first two gold-mining permits the Haitian government had issued in more than 50 years. The project was immediately slammed by members of the Haitian Senate, who called it a potential environmental disaster and “a waste of resources.” The backlash caused the government to put the permits on hold.
Viard stressed that Rodham was not involved in the effort to win the permit from the Haitian government, which was granted months before Rodham joined the board.
He said Rodham was compensated with stock options that will not vest unless the project is a success.
So Rodham, the brother of an anticipated future POTUS, gets rich if the Haitian government hangs tough and allows the project to go forward. Nothing to see here, move along.
Of course, everyone is denying any possible connections. But it just looks really, really bad. And life isn’t getting any better for those Haitians, despite all the grand talk, glittering forums, and serious expressions of concern that the billions of dollars the B,H&CCF has mobilized, the portions coming from Americans deducted from taxable income.

BUT .... all the presstitutes can talk about is how long it took for the $5.6 million to be handed out to PROPERLY VETTED Vet organizations .... every penny accounted for. Almost $6 million & he took not a penny in administrative costs. The presstitutes also can’t seem to find the wherewithall to mention the $6 BILLION DOLLARS MISSING FROM THE STATE DEPARTMENT UNDER HILLY’S TENURE THERE (per an IG report). Too bad Trump didn’t mention that .... maybe he’s keeping his powder dry for future press conferences.

At the same time CNN is tearing Trump apart, they are advertising their live, heavily vetted, Hillary! interview later today.
CNN is trying to WRITE AND CONTROL THE NARRATIVE, not report on it.
They have gotten by with doing this for 20+ years, and now that they are getting pushback they MUST try to bury it, to keep those checks coming from the Clinton Foundation, and the other liberal “Charitable Organizations” they (or their spouses) sit on the boards of.

Ack! These people are so self-absorbed I can’t take it. He slammed them for their dishonesty in sleazy reporting based on their own faulty “research”, in turn based on incomplete information.
The author should have used the more accurate word, not "questioning" but more like "interrogating" him.
It wasn’t just the media, there were a whole slew of sleazy Freepers too.
