Ruben Brosbe, a third-grade teacher at a public school in New York City, doesn’t like Donald Trump. It’s clear he despises the man who is about to be named the Republican presidential nominee and all that he stands for. And he has written publicly about his desire to share this with the children in his class.
Teachers, he says, must not “silence themselves” when the subject arises. “The fact is, Donald Drumpf is not an ordinary politician,” writes Brosbe in TheEducatorsRoom.com in a article titled “Teachers Must Take On Trump.” “His rhetoric goes beyond typical political mud-slinging. It is dangerous, offensive and demands a response from educators.”
Brosbe uses the name Drumpf instead of Trump, which is code for “I hate Trump.” It comes from a segment earlier this year on comedian John Oliver’s show on HBO. Apparently back in Germany in the late 1600s, the Drumpfs changed their name to Trump. To Trump haters, however, the name change is proof of his shadiness. It’s akin to someone calling the president Barack Hussein Obama.
Brosbe, a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, says the topic of a wall between Mexico and the U.S. came up at lunchtime this spring when the kids in the Hamilton Heights school “started asking about the upcoming New York primary.” After the third graders tossed around some candidates and issues, he explains, the tone changed as the discussion turned to Drumpf. One student wanted to know if an aunt in Mexico would still get mail. Some of his third-graders were born in Mexico and so were many of their parents, he says, but the possibility of postal service interruption is his only first-hand anecdote of concern from his students. Still, he senses “a mixture of anxiety and anger” beneath their conversation.

My teachers had very strong political opinions. I was in grade school when Reagan was elected, and my teachers were beside themselves. They genuinely believed that he was a ‘cowboy’ who would get us all killed...and they weren’t shy about talking about it. I think a few of them actually entered a depressive state after the election.
Yeah that's what I tossed around in third grade.
For months now I’ve been trying to figure out the basic.. the real.. reasons these people have such a strong hate for Trump. They tolerated the worst President in our history... doing more damage than I ever thought a man would do to our country.. and so why this hate for Trump. He’s singled out to warrant the most hate I’ve seen in a candidate, and I go back a long way. It’s encouraged by the media.. and it has become “legitimized” by those who have been in the driver’s seat for way too long.
The men: what is their beef?
The women: what is their beef?
Seems to me the men have been feminized by the women who were angry at men. They hate Trump because he is what they were told they should not be. Or they are just envious of Trump’s success and can’t stand to see it.
The women who hate Trump must be the liberal feminazis. Or the loser candidates backers. Either way, none of them can give me a truthful reason why they hate him. Brash does not work. Rude does not work. Otherwise, all the rest of the excuses/reasons are lies .. and they won’t do research to find out what Trump stands for and wants to do for our country.
It’s childish and beneath those who think they are educated, to do this to Donald Trump. There are basic reasons why he’s attacked.. and I want to hear a good one.. not the ones I’ve been hearing.
The media, the left, the democrat party and the republican party have done so much damage to our country... it’s about time for a patriot!
Doubtful considering how conservative My Little Pony is.

Let me tell you a bit about this little punk. He failed to receive tenure TWICE. He is a card carrying member of an educational deform group called Educators 4 Excellence, bankrolled by Bill Gates. He & his band of merry libtards are not in education for the long haul, but merely to get some cred for bigger plans. They are all the “add water, instant teacher TFA” types. He promotes privatization because the hedge funders bankrolling his little org stand to make big bucks out of it. Take this newest Pajama Boy with a giant grain of salt.

I have been surprised at how envious people are. Even here on FR some of the comments have been over the top, dripping with class envy.
It's sad that people feel so impotent that they hate successful people.
I have a relative who is afflicted with class envy. When she drives down the street and sees someone driving a Mercedes she'll say, "Look at her, she thinks she's so good driving a Mercedes." It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
As someone posted earlier, why is a Harvard educated graduate teaching 3rd grade? And he’s male, at least by observation. Those two things don’t add up very well....................
The “educator” is abusing the children exposed to him in class. He should be fired immediately and arrested.
