The hard work of volunteers and supporters like you is making all the difference, and I'm thrilled to report yet another major victory.
Yesterday afternoon, the Louisiana state legislature became the eighth state in history to pass the Convention of States resolution!
For too long the elite in D.C. have acted with impunity, disregarding the will of We the People and crushing state sovereignty.
Now the people of Louisiana have joined with Florida, Georgia, Alaska, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, and Oklahoma in this historic fight to restore the rightful authority of the people and the states.

If what you are describing is a Constitutional convention which could add or remove things from the U.S. Constitution.it is the worst idea in history.....I see the voters of today and see backers of Hillary, backers of the communist Sanders and don’t want them anywhere NEAR the Constitution other than to read it.
The liberals want to rewrite the Constitution.
That’s not how it works. It has a specific agenda, not a free for all.
The top issue: term limits in the House and Senate.

That’s been my contention all along but I usually get shouted down.
And now there are 8 states: AL, AK, FL, GA, IN, LA, OK and TN.
I would be careful what you wish for.
The Left, if you call for a convention, will want to load up as many Socialist items as possible.
I think this is a huge mistake that would backfire badly.
nooooo this is way too dangerous
liberals could easily hijack such a Convention of States
yes, proposed amendments would still have to get through the state ratification processes, but why risk giving liberals a fast track??
Then you sponsor Amendments to the Constitution.
amendments can be proposed now, without a Convention of States
The course we are on isn’t working. It’s time to put iron clad restrictions on the federal government.
That’s correct too.
38 states still have to ratify any changes or amendments.
Most of my friends favor a convention of states. I do not.
I do not see the moral or intellectual caliber anywhere today which would result in improvement.
I would be happy to be wrong.
this isn’t going at all like you thought it would.
I agree. Let’s start with the non slavery amendments the CSA introduced and take it even further.

Indeed, I see all sorts of global warming and sexual amendments being added in, and the 2nd amendment being changed to their own liking
This is good news. For those of you that have reservations, please go to http://www.conventionofstates.com and go to the page that outlines responses to objections to a Convention of States. Lots of good info there.
