ABQ police seeking tips about 30 violent ‘thugs’ at anti-Trump rally

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Mayor Richard Berry said police are trying to identify about 30 “thugs” who threw rocks and engaged in other violence during this week’s protest against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

A team of officers is examining video and photos to build criminal cases for prosecution.

Berry and Albuquerque’s police chief, Gorden Eden, estimated that about 1,000 people attended the anti-Trump protest — and perhaps 30 people engaged in violence against police or others.

Eden said protesters threw rocks and molotov-cocktail-like devices at officers. One person used a rod of some sort to strike a police horse.

“It sounded like a rainstorm,” Eden said of the rocks.

About six officers were treated for injuries, including facial wounds, he said.

Police also heard seven shots fired near Third and Gold, Eden said.

Berry said he is setting aside $10,000 from his office’s discretionary fund to offer rewards for people who can help identify people who violently broke the law.

The public can donate or offer tips by calling 242-COPS.

these Anarchist thugs need to be hauled in and placed in camps until the election is over. Every one of them a selective suspension ofhabeas corpus applied to them . if they are found to have in anyway and illegal immigration status they should be placed in Federal Detention until after the election is over and then immediately departed without apeal

She was “too busy” to attend and Trump dissed her at the rally. She responded that she wouldn’t be “bullied” and she was working for New Mexico and New Mexicans. To my knowledge she hasn’t commented on the riot Tuesday night.

Yes, they do. They lie nearly constantly with impunity, yet if you misspeak or leave something out of a statement, they will nail your butt to the wall with extreme prejudice. G_d forbid you actually do tell an untruth.

"One set of laws for thee, another for me" seems to be the mindset even among FReeper cops.
