The Daily 202: Trump’s attacks on the GOP’s most prominent Latina ... should alarm Republicans

Complete Headline: The Daily 202: Trump’s attacks on the GOP’s most prominent Latina, Susana Martinez, should alarm Republicans

During a 65-minute speech in Albuquerque last night, Donald Trump laced into New Mexico Republican Gov. Susana Martinez. He blamed her for the state’s economic problems, for the growing number of food stamp recipients and for not doing more to reject Syrian refugees. The billionaire even mused about moving to the state to run for governor himself.

[Trump's] language was quite gendered.

Trump called Hillary a "low-life" and then went on to imitate the way she talks, raising his voice to a high-pitched yell. "I will never say this but she screams and drives me crazy," Trump said. "I can’t listen."

He once again referred to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) as "Pocahontas," a reference to her claims of Native American heritage. "She is probably the senator that's doing just about the least in the United States Senate," he said. "She's a total failure. She said she was an Indian. She said because her cheekbones were high, she was an Indian."

The most offensive language, though, came from one of the warm-up speakers. David Chavez, a former state lawmaker, compared voting for Clinton because she's a woman to drinking bleach because it looks like water. "I've heard people say: I don't know who to choose: Trump or Hillary. Even Bill Clinton chose other women. So you should, too," Chavez said.

The left has developed the hard’n’fast idea that any minority must be treated affirmatively and with kid gloves at all times, in ways a white man (or even a white woman) would not be spared. That’s not equality.

This is the best part of the Trump candidacy so far : watching the the liberal media still hoping the old canards will work.

I don’t want her and her drunken entitlement to represent the GOP.

Do I this right? The Governor made some insulting comments about Trump to a bunch of other republicans and Trump responds in kind (as he always does) and suddenly he is anti women and anti Hispanic?

I think it should indicate that Trump is beyond the women and race. He doesn’t care about someone’s identity politics! He cares about what they are doing and saying.

Kudos for Trump. and I am not a big supporter. I like Cruz.

Trump didn’t attack her, he merely said she “isn’t doing a good job”. And .. the evidence is that many Latino’s are now on welfare, etc. Much more so than when she was elected.

“The Governor will not be bullied into supporting a candidate until she is convinced that candidate will fight for New Mexicans,” a Martinez spokesperson said in a statement after the event.

(Hey I would have titled it “Fellow Republicans keep inviting attacks by presumptive nominee Donald Trump,” but maybe that is just me, and you know the Wapoo is always concerned about Republicans’ feelings, lol)

Same with most of Latin America. They are Europeans who speak Spanish. Their ancestry is all but identical to most of the North American settlers. It is simply that some have more Native blood. SOME, and in almost all cases those with a predominance of native blood are in the lower classes because most of the Latin American countries are incredibly RACIST and run by the WHITE people.

Look at the home page of UNIVISION. It is all white people. Jorge Ramos has blue eyes for Christ’s sake! He is only a ‘person of color’ if that color is white.
