As many as 500 top evangelical and social conservative leaders, including Dr. Ben Carson and Tony Perkins, will have a closed-door meeting with Donald Trump on June 21 in New York City to ascertain what he has to offer to the country...

Those leading the efforts include Southern Baptist Convention President Ronnie Floyd, Focus on the Family founder James Dobson, Faith and Freedom Coalition's Ralph Reed, Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America, Bob McEwen, Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association, Kelly Shackleford of First Liberty, American Values President Gary Bauer, Family Leader President Bob Vander Plaats, and megachurch pastors Jack Graham and Ed Young.

A President doesn’t have to be a full-fledged evangelical to be open to our concerns. Who do you think we’ll have better access to? Hillary or Donald? I am impressed by Trumps judiciary list and his willingness to take political correctness head on. I do pray that he will access our Father in Heaven and that he will humble himself before the task.
Ping!

I still haven't quite gotten over how Dobson sandbagged Fred Thompson last timeas if McCain is a "better" Christian? More loyal to Republican principles? We see how that turned out. Dobson is a very judgmental guy. Hope he learned his lesson.
No ways!
Beat me to it!
Isn’t that Billy Graham’s daughter?
Dobson came out strongly for Cruz along with the others. This tells me they are easily swayed. I’d like to see them full square behind Trump. Unconditional.
That’s Jan Brewer, former governor of AZ.
Truth of the day.
He has stated he IS a Christian......often
....so what does that make you?.....someone who does not tell the truth!
Also since you called them Johnny come lately. This smells to me and the reason is that Ralph Reed attended a Bilderberger Meeting a few years ago. What “Christian” attends a meeting to destroy the sovereignty of our great nation?
I’m still smarting over his endorsement of Cruz
Where was his discernment?
No we need a President that knows Islam is not a religion, peaceful or otherwise.
Anne Graham Lotz—beautiful woman, follower of Christ.
I am pretty sure that is a lie.
Quite the misleading headline...
The article says nothing about his faith being tested...
"Our goal is to be able to have a conversation that could lead to a better understanding of what Donald Trump has to offer to the country,"
"There is no preconceived outcome here," Perkins added. "I'm hoping we can have a conversation that could lead to helping conservative leaders make a decision about what to do in this election."
I am pretty sure that is a lie.
While that above is true I intended to post that your claim that Trump has said many time he is not a Christian, is a lie.
...because you have Cruz Derangement Syndrome...
