What we DO need is a POTUS that is respectful toward all religions

I am pretty sure that is a lie.

While that above is true I intended to post that your claim that Trump has said many time he is not a Christian, is a lie.

If you say “many times,” you will be showing that you are the liar.

A Christian is someone who has believed in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of his/her sins.

Donald Trump: ‘I’m Not Sure If I Ever Asked God’s Forgiveness’

http://www.christianpost.com/news/donald-trump-im-not-sure-if-i-ever-asked-gods-forgiveness-141706/#yga5oLS4HY30x6g2.99

A person is saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and God grants him repentance for his sins.

The person is saved 1) from the guilt and penalty of his sins [at conversion], 2) from the power of sin’s rule over him [from the point of conversion to the end of his earthly life, as he is progressively being conformed to the image of Christ] and 3) from the presence of sin [realized when he receives his new body].

When a person becomes a Christian he is given a new heart, a new mind, a new spirit, and the Holy Spirit to guide and teach him in the Way he is to walk. His life is now in Christ. He is a Christian (Christ-follower).

Galatians 2:20 briefly describes the death of His old man (everything he was in Adam) and the life of His new man in Christ. He has been identified with Christ and His death, burial and resurrection at the point of his faith in Christ for the forgiveness of his sins. He is raised up to walk in newness of life now. He will grow in this new life as he continues to believe in God and His Word, the Bible, and depends on the Holy Spirit within him Who leads him into Truth and Freedom from the bondage of sin.

He will exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in his life to others—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—as he walks by the Spirit.
