The victim of the attack should sue Target for enough money to be able to retire. Split the proceeds with the guy that defended you as he needs it. To stock holders of Target: fire all people involved in this shameful episode.

I did visit Target last week. Why? Because we had an outstanding $100 gift card and wanted to make sure it got spent.

However, unless they change there ways, that will be my last transaction with Target.

I’m torn. Do I start shopping at Target so I can then boycott them?

I don’t shop there now because I did several studies for my MBA and Target is more expensive across the board than Walmart. Also, the on-their-sleeve liberal politics of the artsy-fartsy liberals who shop at my university town Target made me nauseous. (Lots of Go-Green bumper stickers on huge SUV’s and Coexist bumper stickers on Subaru’s.)

The family of the girl is probably suing Target and they in turn will sue “down hill”. They place the blame on the young man who was heroic to help the victim. Target is against violence in their stores. Target will probably by out of business by 2017. People are rising up and fighting back.

Snopes investigated this and
WHAT'S TRUE: Target stores filed a lawsuit against Michael Turner over a 2013 stabbing incident in one of their stores.

WHAT'S FALSE: Target did not sue Turner for saving a girl from being stabbed in their store.

However, Michael Turner was not sued merely for his having saved Allison Meadows from being stabbed. Rather, Target claimed that Turner and others had recklessly endangered customers when they brought a confrontation that had started outdoors into the store. News articles published at the time of the incident in March 2013, as well as articles published in July 2015 when the lawsuits were filed, detailed the events leading up to the attack on Meadows:
According to the criminal complaint, the incident began when Walls stabbed a man named Jobe Wright near a construction site on nearby Highland Avenue. Police said Walls ran down the street toward Penn Circle and into Target, followed by Wright, his friend Michael Turner, and Tyrique Walker, who called 911 to report their location, and Roland Smith, who grabbed a baseball bat to help Wright.

Once they were all inside the store, "Walls saw Walker and attempted to stab him with a large swing at his neck area," the complaint said. "Walls, missing his target, then moved towards the checkout area at the Target store where he began trying to stab additional victims who were in the store. Walls then grabbed Allison Meadows and held her against her will at knifepoint in one of the checkout lanes to use her as a shield. Victims Hosea Davis, Mike Turner, Jobe Wright and Roland Smith attempted to subdue Walls and to free Meadows when they saw him poke the knife into Meadows' back."
So, not quite the simplistic story we thought

So Target would have been aok with a girl stabbed to death in their store and every one standing around with their hands in their pockets.

Perhaps they need a warning sign.

“If you witness someone being attacked in our store, do not help or we will sue you.”

Good Samaritans are not welcome at Target

As I’ve said of GM, I don’t need any more reasons to avoid shopping at Target, but they just keep on coming.

Breitbart reported on a 2013 event in which Michael Turner grabbed a baseball bat and used it to chase of an attacker and save the life of a young woman who was being attacked in a Target store. Instead of offering praise or award for Mr. Turner, the store has chosen instead to sue him for endangering other customers in the store with the bat. No, this is not satire. Target, however, is less grateful for Mr. Turner's heroics. And now the retailer is suing him for "endangering" the store's customers.

If Target offered me to take televisions and computers out of their store free, I'd decline.

1) Target says law-abiding concealed carry citizens not welcome.
2) Target welcomes men who want to share women’s bathrooms.
3) Target sues man who stops a murder in their store.

Not a store I want to shop in.

I honestly believe that some major players out there are intentionally trying to depress Target’s stock and value. To what end I don’t know. Shareholders should demand real answers and scalps at their next meeting. This looks like fraud.

Well, this is consistent with Target’s new strategy of making sure their stores offer safe spaces for criminals and perverts.

Hmmm.... Does Target have standing for a civil suit here?

How were they “damaged?” How are the damages quantified?

This should be laughed out of court by the judge, before it gets laughed out by a jury.

More details from another source - still no doubt Turner saved the 16 y/o girl’s life.

In 2013, Leon Walls stabbed Michael Turner’s friend on a Pittsburgh street. Turner and three other men went looking for Walls shortly after the stabbing, planning to hold him for police. Turner heard that the man had gone inside a nearby Target, in East Liberty, so Turner and the men followed.

Once inside, they found Walls, who then grabbed 16-year-old Allison Meadows and began stabbing her with a knife. Turner and the men jumped into action and stopped the attack. Allison’s father, Glen Meadows, considers Turner a hero.

Target will be shown what a fool place it is should it get to a court hearing. What’s Target’s lawyers going to say? He endangered the other customers by saving the girl’s life? Really? Seriously? I’ll bet that judge will laugh it out of court.

My guess is that Target will decline even further. Most likely the board is filled with people that think like this CEO. Therefore the hemorrhage of money will continue... a clearly self inflicted wound. The board will have to be put in line by their stock holders, which very well have the same pandering and smug inclinations of thought. It could come to a tipping point where they cant recover.

If target shoppers are this mad over the bathroom issue, voters would also be mad over Obama enacting the policy.

I think he finally went too far. Even liberals don’t want their children in bathrooms with deranged people.
