Sadly, this is what is becoming of a lot of people who are unaware of history.
Since discussing a person’s gender is more important than their freedom to be a gender, history and other core concepts of liberty have gone by the wayside.
She is not an example of the typical “life long Republican.”

I was born and raised in Vallejo. Both of my parents worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard and they still live there in the house I grew up in. Fortunately, I went to private schools in Walnut Creek and Martinez. I moved to the North Dallas area in 1991 and have been here ever since.
Vallejo is a cesspool. It is one of the drug and murder capitals of the bay area.
Vallejo is ranked as the 4th most dangerous city in California. Oakland is 6th.
Vallejo High School was put on accreditation sanctions a few weeks ago. Vallejo High School teachers and staff have been engaged in sabotage of the school’s accreditation process. Members of the accreditation commission witnessed the sabotage.
Nothing new, she switched parties to vote in the democrat party for Sanders. Republicans vote in democrat primaries and democrats vote in republican primaries every season. Thad Cochran’s supporters ran a campaign designed to scare democrat (especially minority) voters into voting for him against his primary opponent in 2014. Lots of lifelong democrats voted in the republican primaries this year, too. At least one switched parties so he could run in the GOP primaries this year.
Liberal are the one who go to war while claiming they won’t.

JFK claimed we should stay out of Vietnam as did LBJ: Both were primarily responsible for Vietnam.
Carter screwed around in the middle east and we’re still not out of there.

I had a friend who grew up in Vallejo, we met in the early 70’s, when the shipyard was still going. I only went up there once at that time, and my understanding was that it was quite the thriving area. When the base de-activated, it just eviscerated the town. There is a sort of trendy gentrified area right in the middle of downtown, maybe 20 blocks, and some of the land side opposite Mare Island is OK, but the rest of the town is an absolute pit. I think there are some plans to develop the old base with some homes...it’s probably toxic city in terms of petroleum in the ground. Other than that, the rest of the town is a shocking wreck.

I vaguely remember (I was a just a lad, I don’t know why he was running ads in Illinois which was quite safe for him, maybe it was intended for NW Indiana) a Clinton 1996 commercial where a woman and her daughter both “lifelong Republicans” were voting straight democrat because Dole opposed abortion “even in cases of rape and incest!”. Pssshaw.
