Judiciary Committee Member Steve King (R-Iowa) on the Republican Party and Donald Trumps candidacy.

Yeah right. Trump will win the general election without conservatives? Not possible. Even Trump knows this.
What is King trying to say then?
Who do you think voted for him ???
Trump has reached out to Jeff Sessions and Phyllis Schlafly and they accepted (read endorsed) him.
Who do you think voted for him ???
Christians and Conservatives...
the so called “evangelicals” and RomneyBots went for Cruz...
Elections are numbers-driven, as we’re all very familiar with. The quality of votes don’t matter as much as the volume and legality of votes. I’d say that it’s short-sighted to toss away a large number of potential allies. No one’s suggesting that anyone bend the knee, in any direction... or they shouldn’t if they are. Let’s get our heads straight and keep the Constitution intact, hmm?
As you said, CFC, that includes any conservatives who are not on board right now.
Trump for President.
Not only doesn't he need them, he doesn't want them, and has said so.
Most politicians kowtow to every little segment saying 'I need your support, please support me, what can I do to get your support?'.
Trump is saying 'Here is my agenda, if you like it or can live with it, come on board, otherwise I don't need you.'
'Criticize it and me from the outside'.
Now you can decide for yourself, but he's not coming to run after you for your support.
It's an admirable stand, one which only a confident politician would take.
That's why you've never been confronted with this choice before.
“I want to see all these GOPe and their Uniparty DNC hacks swept from the U.S. govt, never to return.”
My dream!
isnt it the loser that generally falls in line with the winner?...whats different here
That’s why Dobbs reminds King that he is not the little darling of the party and that he is here to serve us not the other way around!
I have been a big Trump supporter since last Sept.
I have friends on all sides of the fence who are now supporting Trump.
The one side I’m seeing resistance on is one-time Cruz supporters and independents from Blue States.
Oh and by the way, I donated $$$ to Cruz in the past.
Plus I lived in CO for 4 years.
It is NOT going to be an easy battle for Trump to win.
It is up to Trump to unify the party. It is his party now. He owns it. Not in his interest to destroy it.
re: “The Free Traitors who want to send our jobs overseas”
My mind at first said. “typo”.
Then we thought about it and agree, No Typo.
That said, Steve needs to get on board sooner rather than later. He is no doubt posturing before the platform is written. Steve King is a solid conservative. I am positive he will come around before the convention.
Careful cowboy, your post contains logic, which is not very popular right now.
Well over half of conservatives and evangelicals voted for Trump.
He has done quite well reaching out.
Trump will never please the 20% of dead Enders and snake handlers.
Do you think King should bow to the guy who got less than 20% of the vote in his district? Of course not. Trump supporters need to realize that we need votes from King’s district if he wants to win Iowa. Same thing applies to other districts in other states. Call me captain obvious. You do not win votes by alienation. OK to stand your ground, just don’t attack needed allies.
If it was truly "your job", it would be wherever you wish it to be. To businesses, "your job" is an expense. Either the expense yields higher value or it needs to be cut. Basic business. Even Trump said that wages were too high. Wait until the demonrats take it to $15/hr and have all "your jobs" vanish.
>>OK to stand your ground, just don’t attack needed allies.<<
Yep.
