Bitterness and violence erupted yesterday at the Democrats’ Nevada State Convention in Las Vegas, as 64 Sanders delegates were disqualified, allowing Clinton to take 7 of the 12 delegates up for grabs. Party officials there ignored a motion from the floor and rammed through a vote according to the wishes of the Clinton campaign. It’s almost as if the Hillary faction genuinely fears for the nomination it supposedly has sewn up.

The don’t care because people like Bob Woodward at the Washington Post would have covered this story BIG TIME if it had happened with Republicans... but it won’t get a mention when it’s the press’s family spoiled brats...
Bill will also be glad not to share the spotlight of scrutiny of being in the WH too. Everywhere he goes, everything he does.

I don’t understand it either. These people must never vote, because we will never have a perfect candidate. And what may be perfection to one will not be to another. I, for one, am not so selfish as to contribute to the fall of our country for the sake of sticking to my principles. I have matured beyond the point of thinking the world revolves around me, what I think and feel. Apparently some people haven’t.

Just took a little visit; now I feel like I need a shower, which is always the case after visiting there. I suppose all the TrigglyPuffing there feels like it’s catching.
At any rate, one thing that’s interesting is that there’s a civil war going on there about Hillary and Bernie, and all those who don’t like Hillary are being accused of being GOP trolls. I guess they’ll find out in November on election day how much of that Hillary antipathy is real.
One of the problems with Sander is that he’s STILL holding back on his attack on Hillary. It doesn’t feel like he want to win

Whereas the Rat convention might be chaos. The difference between the Pubs and the Rats is that OUR revolution against the corrupt status quo establishment is succeeding, whereas theirs is failing. Which perhaps is a good thing because our revolution is moving us towards where our country needs to be heading and their revolution would take it even further in the wrong direction than they’ve already taken it.

As long as people try to use the corrupt system to remove the corruption, the corruptocrats have nothing to worry about. Their end game is Venezuela where they steal billions and people fight in the streets over cats and dogs. We are not going there. We have plenty of bullets.
I overheard something similar a couple of months ago -- Dem voters who aren't happy with the current set of choices. Wonder what these people will end up doing.
Maybe Bernie is just etching an electoral circuit board for November.
There isn’t very much if anything anti Trump in the comments either. Most obviously prefer Sanders but they are open to the GOP if it is enough to stop Hillary.
It took me a while to realize this, but what’s been happening is that the Democrat party establishment really doesn’t care one way or another about socialism. They just want POWER. A strong centralized government gives them power. They are NOT the Bernie-type supporters who truly want a Nordic-style socialist welfare state, who in fairness those countries tend to have low corruption scores on Transparency International. Nope. The Dem establishment just wants to hold on to power, and they’ve been dangling “get free stuff!” as a way to buy votes...and now people are finally catching on.
Just like the Republican establishment kept dangling “we’ll secure the border! Pinky swear this time!” when they didn’t really mean it, and finally Trump exposed them on their fraud.
Weird how the “conservatives” gained control of both houses and have squandered their position.
That they certainly will not. Could be a hot summer in Philadelphia, the, er, City Of Brotherly Love. And there I went thinking the Republican convention was going to be the battleground...
A critical demographic in all this is the "I've voted Democrat all my life" wing - it's very difficult to measure, but if that demographic deserts the Dems as it appears it might, this one's over before it begins. Even people who don't like Trump are occasionally amused by him, but Hillary has none of that going for her. She is despised, and she's earned it. And nothing her people are doing to lock up her nomination is making her any less despised.
