Oil billionaire T. Boone Pickens, who on Wednesday endorsed presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, is planning to host a fundraising event for the pro-Trump super PAC next month, the first major effort by the super PAC to raise money.
Mr. Pickens, chairman of the hedge fund BP Capital, has invited Ed Rollins, the co-chairman of the super PAC, to visit his Texas ranch in mid-June, along with a few other fundraising officials from the group. The goal is both to raise money for the super PAC and to bolster party unity, a spokesman for Mr. Pickens said.

The hits just keep on coming! He’s gonna need a billion to compete against the Beast.
He must have money to burn.
Didn’t he give Okie State something like $600,000,000.00?
Is Pickens still trying to bilk the Feds for billions in wee-und power?
“The hits just keep on coming! Hes gonna need a billion to compete against the Beast.”
Good news. It is going to take a lot of cash to go against Hillary. Some of the old Cruz money people have apparently gone over to Hillary and are giving her money.
I thought Pickens was all about Natural Gas ...
Good! :)
I guess after losing billions and being dropped from the Forbes 400 list of richest Americans after losing much of his fortune in the wind farming industry, Mr Pickens has become a believer in fossil fuels again.
personally I am fed up with these billionaire fools who play monopoly with our future by jumping from one failed candidate to another just to get rich.
Not calling Trump a fool, but Pickens is a fool for putting his wealth behind Obama in “08”. Now he expects me to give a hit about what he think?
Maybe he should start by apologizing to America for the trillions we lost due to his helping Obama getting elected before we act like his opinion about anything matters.
Let’s hope he came to his senses...
I think Trump crushes Hillary and this super pac money can instead be used to help down ballot folks supportive of Trump’s i.e. America’s agenda. Start with a donation to Ryan’s primary opponent.
I’d rather have Trump get $20 each from 50 million Americans.
Trump should keep as much distance as possible from Super PACS.
I think he would be shocked at the amount of hard money he would raise from small donations and campaign gear if he would just ask the public.
He could even do raffles for a week at Mar-A-Lago and such.
People would love it, and the free press would be priceless.
I agree with you on this he NEEDS to stay FAR AWAY from super PACS, I also believe he can get the money EASILY from the public!!!! My main reason for backing Trump was he IS NOT in anyone’s pocket!!!! I am NOT liking this raising money thingy!!!!!!
Well, I submitted the above to his campaign lol.
Never know.
GOOD I will do the same!!!!
Kind of, he gave them the money if they agreed to buy his stock. The value of his stock dropped leaving OSU with a big debt.
T. "Bone" must believe there is money to be made on his current plan.
“I am NOT liking this raising money thingy!!!!!!”
T’aint no big deal. Trump can’t tell PACs what to do nor is he beholden to them. If crazy rich folks want to spend $$$$ to help Trump win on their own, I say, “GREAT!”
Trump will have enough $$$ to beat Cankles.
Vote Trump 2016
