All of that was constructed image. Calculated disinformation.
Cruz is a proxy for the Bush machine. A constructed foil for the establishment, and a false sanctuary for conservatives. As Lenin said, “The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”
Cruz does not add up except as a deception.
“I would like to see Conservatives extend an olive branch to Cruz; but we really cannot do so, until he is able to discuss events in a rational manner.”
That burden is on him. It is his camp making the jackass claim that rejecting “Ted” (not his real name) is rejecting God.
Screw him. Let him come, with some humility, repentance, and an attitude adjustment, or just stay in the corner he has painted himself into.
Sounds sort of schizophrenic.

poor Ted tried to create a 2nd place out of thin air, some radio hosts encouraged him, now they all 3 look o so silly.
Too bad Cruz didn’t take the million and build himself a billions dollar business. That done, he could have THEN successfully run for president. This past year, he’s had a great mentor in his midst. Too bad he reviled him.

Of course, who could against a master promoter like Trump? And after Wisconsin, the outlook for Cruz was rather grim anyway.
His downfall was certain given his inexperience, lack of charm with the press, and his inability to say anything meaningful other than Trump did this and Trump did that.
I guy like Cruz doesn't want anybody fact checking him because his schtick is to throw out lots of lies to make him sound super smart.
Greta and other people like John Dickerson found out what he was doing and trapped Lyin' Ted.
That explains a lot about Cruz.
