By adding to an already challenging legal environment in North Carolina, HB2 could cost the state almost $5 billion a year, according to a new report by the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law.
"The repeal of HB2 would not only reverse the threat to over $5 billion in economic activity for the state, but would also begin to bring North Carolina some of the economic advantages that come when a state embraces diversity and its LGBT citizens," said Christy Mallory, Senior Counsel at the Williams Institute and co-author of the new report.
While prior reports have focused on the potential loss in federal funding to the state, this report examines 9 other harmful economic impacts resulting from HB2....

What BS. Their wet dream as “facts.”
Trannies constitute what percentage of the population again?
Do they ALL live in the Raleigh-Durham area?
If anything, it makes me much more likely to visit SOLELY to help their economy.
What a load of fecal matter.
But what can you expect from freak supporters?
but would also begin to bring North Carolina some of the economic advantages that come when a state embraces diversity and its LGBT citizens,” said Christy Mallory, Senior Counsel at the Williams Institute and co-author of the new report.
Can anyone name some of the economic advantages that come when a state embraces diversity and its LGBT citizens???
I’ve heard this before, but nobody ever gives an example. For example, are huge numbers of transgender people small business owners, who are eager to move their business to a homosexual friendly state???
For a tiny percentage of the population, it seems hard to quantify this alleged economic impact of allowing men in the ladies room.
Common core math apparently
Churchill: Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?
Socialite: My goodness, Mr. Churchill Well, I suppose we would have to discuss terms, of course
Churchill: Would you sleep with me for five pounds?
Socialite: Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!
Churchill: Madam, weve already established that. Now we are haggling about the price.

Ask TARGET.
Don’t think anyone has a right to impose how they “feel” or “identify” in opposition to reality when and delusional on everyone else.
Poppycock, pure unadulterated BS. North Carolina will see a HUGE Jump in economic activity if they would JUST FOLLOW THEIR OWN LAWS currently on the books.:
The right thing to do is simple, FILE CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST THESE DOJ LAWYERS, let them defend their actions in front of a JURY. FEDERAL EMPLOYEES are NOT EXEMPT FROM STATE LAWS regarding Criminal Activity.

Wedding cake sales go through the roof.
You mean wedding cake lawsuits.
Always remember...math is NOT a friend of progressives.
Those figures have an almost certain chance of being complete bull shi...er...bull LGBT.
Anyone remember the huge support Chick-fil-A got when they were being persecuted by the Gay Nazis? There are millions of Americans who would give anything to move their families to a God-fearing, traditional community. No one talks about the thousands of businesses who will be attracted to NC because of traditional values practiced there. Good for Gov McRory for standing up to the Feds. NC just won it’s Voter ID case. It should win this one as well, and beat back this insanity.
The strange part is that NC people are the friendliest people I’ve ever lived with anywhere. Hard to see them labeled as haters.
You mean Charlotte. But hey if it keeps dems from continuing to move down here and bring in their liberal ways I’m all for it!
Doesn’t that make the feds - a bully?
Cause claiming it would have a $10 billion impact on economic activity would just be sensational.......
