Less than a week after proclaiming to Indiana voters that he would vote for Ted Cruz in his state's primary — a tepid endorsement that featured high praise for Donald Trump — Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has made it official: He is all in for the presumptive Republican nominee.
“I’m fully supportive of our presumptive nominee, and I do think Donald Trump will do well in the State of Indiana,” Pence told reporters, according to Indianapolis' Fox affiliate. “I’m going to campaign hard for the Republican nominee because Indiana needs a partner in the White House.”

The Republicans drank the liberal media Kool-aid that Trump had no chance, and they are starting to wake up to the fact that he actually has a good shot at winning. The liberal media knew all along that he had a good chance, which is why they were so desperate with their editorials that “Republicans must stop Trump!” They know that amnesty is the best way to ensure liberal majorities for years to come.
What would be awesome: you know how some states gave out drivers licenses to illegals? What if Trump has INS pull all those records, and then they know exactly who to deport? Use their own laws against them.
Whoever the VP is, and if Trump is elected, if then Trump quits 2 years and one day into his second term the VP is eligible to serve 10 years and 1/2, minus one day.
Interesting scenario. I think that would be 16.49 yrs of Trump and his VP as prez if my math is correct
That’s my opinion, too. He showed who he really is when he folded to the sodomites and rescinded Indiana’s new law protecting Christians from having to bake cakes for deviates’ “weddings” and such.

I thought his endorsement of Cruz was more like “damning with faint praise.” Especially as he went on and on about Trump before he gave Cuz the slight nod.

Like freshly poured concrete slowly hardening, the solid reality that Donald Trump is the new boss of the Republican party, is dawning on the political elites.
Come convention time, the #nevertrump brigade will be a lonely voice, crying in the wilderness.
Pence is a good man.
The radio station that carried the Pence endorsement let it slip today that he was reading that from a prepared script.
Wonder who wrote it for him.
As I said before Tuesday, that endorsement of Cruz would probably hurt Pence in the long run. The vote tally pretty much tells that story.
I’ve not seen the numbers for the counties in the state, but mine had a 43% turnout, with the totals being pretty much in line with the state outcome.
Side note...we had around 4000 Republican voters while the Dems had around 1000. (Bernie won it) That gives you an idear what our voter demographics. There were no Dems on the local ballot.
Lou Holtz, Bobby Knight, and some guy that says he’s the Governor of Indiana.
He saw the writing on the wall. He’s not a bad governor, but not a good one either. Many “Pence must go” yard signs around my part of the hood.
His acquiescence on defense on marriage ( that he supposedly supported initially) didn’t do him any favors either.
Too bad. He had potential, but then went PC. Doc. Bowen was probably the best governor in my lifetime.
We have an antidote. A new president who will appoint a new Department of Justice and Attorney General.

It sure is. I’ve really missed that feeling.
Lord knows, the crapweasels who’ve been running our party for so long, haven’t had a single molecule of leadership among them.
Frankly, our side hasn’t had an identifiable leader for a very long time now. Is it any wonder the Republicans at the federal level have failed us so badly? There hasn’t been a single strong figure to keep ‘em in line.
I think that’s why Paul Ryan mouthed off the other day. He’s not used to having an actual leader at the top of the political hierarchy. He and many of the younger plotters in the party, have probably never experienced working under a real executive leader like Trump.
