A pro-Donald Trump tow truck driver refused to a help a disabled customer stranded on Interstate 26 in Asheville, North Carolina on Monday because she supports Bernie Sanders.
"Something came over me, I think the Lord came to me, and he just said, 'Get in the truck and leave,'" said Ken Shupe of Shupee Max Towing in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina. "And when I got in my truck, you know, I was so proud, because I felt like I finally drew a line in the sand and stood up for what I believed."

A few weeks before the Maryland primary I was in Washington for the weekend and as I came out of the Metro a group of Bernie supporters were there with their posters etc...
As is always my practice I engaged them in conversation and walked down the sidewalk with them towards my hotel...
They were cordial and we had amiable conversations about my candidate, Trump and our matched enemy, Hillary...
If anything Bernie supporters appear to hate her more strongly...
They know Bernie has little chance of winning the nomination but they refuse to support Hillary even assuring me that several that they knew of might turn to Trump in November should Hillary end up as the Democrat champion...
Trump seems to be preferable to these Democrats..
Amongst the Bernie supporters were students, and older people both professional and working class...
I don’t think they would have refused me aid if I needed it and I on my part would not have refused them if they were stranded and in need of help...
As I said earlier..that tow truck guy wasn’t asked to bake a SSM cake...
He was merely asked to do what he had chosen to set up in business to do...pull broken down cars...
What if that lady was your daughter and she had Cruz stickers all over her car ???
Would you really be so happy that an Obama supporter had refused to rescue her from a strange lonely road ???
You from the Church of We Don’t Know Jesus ???
See my #140 comment.
My poor widdle vehicle can’t defend itself when I’m not around.
Well, you could push them waaaaaaay off the road...and leave.
Good for him. You gotta do you, and he wasn’t wanting to help socialists, who will help themselves anyway, regardless. Both the bumper sticker and the tow driver’s actions are protected free speech, or should be. Motorist said gibmedat, tow driver said peace. Helping morons on the path of life can be good but only within limits, you’ve got to draw a line in the sanders.
Asheville is infested with Bernie supporters.
I have been towed and I had to come up with the money upfront!
voting for someone who wants to take all that away cancels out everything you said.
in case you missed it, he’s a communist. Went to Russia and Cuba for fun, in case you missed the memo.
ciao
I think a better response from the tow truck driver would have been to give them a tow, then use the ride to give them a nice long speech about the virtues of his candidate and the shortcomings of Mr. Sanders. Then, if the Sanders voter shot back at him, he could just say ‘Well, thanks but you can’t pay me enough to listen to that’ and leave the car back on the side of the road :P
Hillary is abominable. I will do what little I can to keep her out of office.
Those “diversity programs” are USUALLY not to shove anything down your throat; they are designed to protect companies from lawsuits from “preferred minorities” (since they can point out that they held mandatory indoctrination sessions, though nothing comes of them). The one exception I recall is one of the financial firms pressing employees to put little rainbow flags on their desks, IIRC; that is open war on Christianity (and Jews, Muslims, etc.).
I hope Trump trounces Hillary and will do my part to help make it happen, but I have no illusions about Trump; he can attract many crossover voters who dislike and/or distrust Hillary because he is non-threatening to many traditional Dem supporters (on racial/ethnic issues in particular, apparently).
I have been told to leave a store because I was wearing clothes that said Jesus and a Christian message.
Actually the Golden Rule requires a sound foundation moral standard by which you rightly decide what you would want done to you. Without which many immoral things may be justified. A suicidal person would kill another based upon a wrong idea of what he would have done to himself.
But here, the tow truck driver could reason that if he was going to make a wrong decision, then he would want someone to not enable him but correct him, even to not helping him out of a temporary situation so he could think. Of course, helping your enemy in such a situation of merely enabling him to drive home is a Christian response. But what if you knew the person was on his way to get an abortion?
That would be Red-Lining.
He'll probably end up getting sued.
Definitely!
Next thing ya know; cabbies will be refusing to go to certain locations at night!
Or did they reach out to Him first?
Isn't there always?!
