Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin endorses Donald Trump’s presidential bid, welcomes VP talk

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin is offering her enthusiastic endorsement of Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, saying she supports the New York billionaire “100 percent.”

Fallin also said Wednesday she’s honored to be mentioned as a possible vice presidential candidate and would be happy to consider such an offer.

Fallin said her priority is to elect a conservative, pro-business Republican who is strong on national defense, and that she believes Trump is that candidate.

The two-term governor has not previously endorsed any of the GOP candidates for president. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas won Oklahoma’s March presidential primary with 34 percent of the vote over Trump, who was second.

Fallin said she hasn’t been contacted by Trump or anyone with his campaign about running as vice president.

Wow. I know nothing of her personal life. I’ve gotten her email updates for years...sounds SO logical!

Might be best to wait and see who Hillary chooses first. If it’s Elizabeth Warren, then Trump would be best NOT to pick a woman, or if he does it’s someone who can articulate conservative ideas.

Condi Rice, is a very smart lady. I’m wondering how she would get along with Trump. I heard she was not for him.

Whoever, it should be someone people can see as president. Trump is about the same age as Reagan was in 1980. An experienced governor from a larger State would be ideal. If Rick Scott could be persuaded to stop depilating his head he might be ideal. The turtle look's a bit creepy.

The South will vote solidly Republican anyway—nothing to gain from that kind of regional balance.

I don’t dislike her....don’t know a whole lot about her. Just happened to read about her issues from the 90s.

Where was Fallin’s endorsement BEFORE the OK primary?

Oh, yeah.....she was a fence sitter, then.

Really liked Fallin, when she first got elected, but haven’t been too impressed with her, of late. I didn’t know she was going through a messy divorce.

It was 10 12 years ago. Her hubby took exception to the Highway Patrolman assigned as bodyguard(lt gov duty) shacking up with her. Funny story really.
