Check your history. Canal started under the administration of Teddy. Canal finished in 1914. Final dike exploded by telegraphic message by Wilson in Washington D.C. Panama separatists revolted, T.R. did send ships because the Colombian Senate refused to ratify treaty with U.S. to build canal. Teddy secretly told rebels U.S. would support a revolt which we did. NO comment on Jefferson and the Louisiana Purchase. How about Polk? Presidents come into office with one set of values and make a turn as necessary to shape the country to their vision.

Think this through.

You are stating that Trump planned his Presidential run years ago, plotting false core convictions, because it was easier to run as a Republican?

If he’s a Liberal, he’s antagonized the very ideological group he’s associated himself with.

This doesn’t make any sense...at least to me.

I have thought it through. A 60 something year old well educated man does not suddenly become pro life because a friend had a baby. Of course maybe he changed his views on scary black rifles because a friend gave birth to an AR. Just as easy to believe, no?

Well, Donald certainly doesn’t speak from his brain. And his heart seems to have different opinions every day. And has a love for things conservatives used to hate, like cheap illegal immigrant labor, and planned parenthood. And his heart likes giving large sums of money to the Clintons, and to liberal democratic candidates. And his heart loves to crudely attack everybody who disagrees with him. And loves to make up stuff.

Since when did spouting nonsense, lies, and liberal propaganda become a conservative principle?

I can tell you that there are millions of misguided youth who are speaking from the heart, spouting gibberish they were fed by the elite. Speaking from the heart is not a principle, or a particularly honorable practice.

Yes, that is a picture that does not have Rafael Cruz in it. So what is your point?

That Trump read it in the Inquirer, so it must be true? Is that what conservativism has come too, believing what they read in the National Inquirer? Do we believe in fairies and little green men now? Is Elvis still alive?

Geez. The lunatics have taken over the asylum.

What a crock of shit. Why don't you go sign up for the Hillary campaign.

Trump never used "cheap illegal immigrant labor", that's a lie on the order of Cruz;s lies.

And Trump has clearly said he doesn't support funding for the abortion-related services which Planned Parenthood offers, only the regular health care services.

So Two Cruz-like lies.

Sounds like someone's bitter today. Wonder why?

Vote Trump

You don’t know that isn’t Cruz in the picture. Looks a lot like him at that age and the Inquirer said they have absolute proof. If they are lying wouldn’t there be a lawsuit threatened? No lawsuits about Cruz’s dalliances either! 99 percent of the people I know would sue if their character was besmirched in this manner. I’m all for innocent until proven guilty but when the accused takes no legal action (a lawyer especially) seems very strange to me.

What really counts in life is not just opposition to your colleagues, but your actual accomplishments. I spent 25 years in private sector industry and 12 in government job. I have observed every type of personality traits in my colleagues. Some were exceptionally intelligent, but did not have people skills. Those types failed to accomplish much to benefit the corporation. On the other hand the likable personalities always received better followers and the result was they had more success in finishing important projects beneficial to the corporation.

If somehow Cruz got elected president, he will get no help from 99% of congress critters and the result would be a failed presidency. It matters little how pure his agenda is, if nothing succeeds, it is all useless.

With Cruz, I can bet my social security check, nothing conservative will ever pass congress. With Trump, at least there is a chance to get a few things getting done.

All good points. It will be interesting to see how much people like the real Donald when it pokes its head out. I have been in business for more than 40 years, and likewise, have run across many that possessed similar traits. Once he believes that he has assumed power (or else has rendered his competition impotent), then his real ambitions will have to come out. You can say a lot of things about Trump, but subtlety is not one of them. I just pray that for the good of the country that he does not ‘loose’ his evil side when given unlimited power. Unfortunately, Obama has given him all of the tools as the President that he needs to be really dangerous, as he has permanently usurped the power of the Executive Branch. There is very little that the Legislative or Judicial Branches can do to stop him.
