Cruz Says He's Still Within Reach of the Nomination if He Loses Indiana
KABC ^ | May 02, 2016 | Jessica Hopper

With Indiana primary voters headed to the polls in less than 24 hours, Ted Cruz said he will "absolutely" have a path to victory even if he loses the next GOP presidential nominating contest.

"We intend to do absolutely everything possible to win tomorrow. It's gonna be up to the people of Indiana," Cruz told ABC News while campaigning in Osceola, Indiana. "The polls have been all over the place. There has literally been a 30-point swing depending on what poll you are looking at. We are neck-and-neck right now in the state of Indiana."

Wasn’t there a RNC meeting in Florida about a month or so ago? And I believe Cruz went.

I think Cruz expects there to be some sort of rule change that will favor him....maybe that they’ll set the delegate bar higher than what Trump ends with after the primaries are over?

I have a question about the Cheetos face roll. Did Beck think that would change votes? That Trump voters would see the red dust on Glenn Beck’s face and say to themselves, “yeah, yeah, that’s right, I get it, I’ll vote for Cruz now”?

And to ask a question about Beck’s Cheetos face roll that Beck used to ask about the people Obama appointed to his administration:

Is this what normal people do? Would you do this? Do you know anyone who would do this?

Yes, delusional is right. Definitely not presidential material. Sad, but true.

Maybe Cruz should have gone to the Wharton school for math?

I can’t believe Cruz is spending so much time campaigning like a stupid church lady. I mean, seriously, he’s saying Americans should be concerned with what Trump is saying because it’ll rub off on the kids? What is wrong with his brain?

Cruz is an idiot and so is anyone who still supports him.

What's disturbing when they talk about Cruz having a "strategy" that will potentially violently tear the nation apart is that they don't even mention that aspect of it. Are they and Cruz that far detached from reality, or don't they care?

In interviews, Cruz still talks about "massive wins" including CO and WY, and none of the interviewers are calling him out on that.

Has Ted set the date for the inaugural ball yet?

Come on, we’re talking about the media. You know, the propaganda arm of the democrat party?

They’d LOVE to have Cruz continue on and destroy the Republican party.

Their paymaster Soros will be pleased, and they’ll be fulfilling Hillary’s desires.

They don't need to, not for most of their audience. Rather than argue with Cruz on one exaggerated claim, they make room for more of them!

There is another reason they don't call him out. To do so would reinforce Trump's shorthand, "Lyin' Ted," and the press does not want to assist Trump.

I’m hoping he realizes he is just putting a smiley face on a terrible situation to keep his few voters at least going to the polls. .

If not, he truly is delusional.

That's all set. He's working on a draft for State of the Union Address.

Has be found a way to do a BIG voter fraud thingy, without getting caught?

You mean DELEGATE voter fraud thingy. He's been working on it, according to Arizona governor Jan Brewer.
