The coalition of Republicans opposed to Donald J. Trumps candidacy braced Monday for a debilitating setback as he appeared poised for a victory in Indiana that would put him on track to seal the Republican nomination by the time primary voting ends next month.
The Indiana vote has emerged as a decisive and perhaps final test for Senator Ted Cruz, who has abandoned hope of overtaking Mr. Trump in the race but still aims to throw the Republican nominating fight to a contested convention in July. Mr. Cruz, of Texas, has pleaded with Indiana voters in recent days not to anoint Mr. Trump as the partys standard-bearer, and has devised a series of long-shot tactics to derail him in the state.

You should be. He’s the presumptive nominee.
“Not a Trump supporter, but yeah, it’s over.”
Sorry it didn’t work out the way you wanted.
At this point we need all hands on deck to destroy Hitlery.
Ted’s going to get clobbered tomorrow, but he’ll make some excuse and keep going.
Like he’s done all along.
Could be? How about will be :)
ObliteraTed.
The writing was on the wall when Trump reportedly won every congressional district in 5 states last week. If things go as expected tomorrow night... it is over.
Ted should be proud...he’s given it a helluva run.
Made some tactical mistakes, but no serious blunders the whole way.
He was bested by someone with more experience in a variety of things unrelated to politics in a year where the public was tired of politicians...which included him.
That’s a tough row to hoe. Being a politician in a year where being a politician was poison. And that in a nutshell is what happened to Cruz.
I certainly hope so. It’s past
time to focus on Mrs Clinton.
Yeah one of his minions was on Hannity today and she was downplaying it saying it’s “important” but not “decisive.”
Apart from the lies.
The fat lady sings tomorrow night.
Strange,Beck was saying that the fate of Western culture was in Indiana’s hands just a day or so ago.

I was for Cruz until Beck et al joined the band. I’m still not excited about Trump, but resigned to reality if things work out tomorrow like they seem they will. Cruz was never as bad at the Trump supporters said, but bad enough in his associations to lose my support. He needs to grow up in that regard.
And crazy Glenn, and his nutty father claiming Ted’s the anointed one, and the iCarly VP charade and......
The role Matt Drudge played in the Trump nomination cannot be overstated. Juxtaposed to that is the lack of influence major ‘conservative’ radio has demonstrated. Levin, Rush & Beck, in particular, will never again wield political influence. An era has passed.
Indiana: another victory for Kasich.
Just ask him he’ll tell you you so.
It’s time for everyone to face reality, as you did, and focus on supporting Trump to beat Hillary or whoever the Dem nominee will be.
I hope Cruz will do the same, which will help save the Republican party, as well as his own career.
And the unprincipled, Machiavellian tactics that he knew were smears, such as when he played the race card during the David Duke "endorsement" hoax; and when he accused the Trump campaign of attacking reporters after the Chicago rally cancellation; and when at the same incident he showed no solidarity with even his own party after the same incident; when he gave only brief lip service in rebuke of violent Left wing thugs, then proceeded to go on a diatribe blaming Trump for it; or when he tried to deflect blame for releasing the Enquirer story onto Trump without any evidence (indeed, knowing there was evidence to the contrary).
But aside from all those, and a few more, Ted made no serious blunders the whole way...
Vote Trump
