Limbaugh, Beck, Levin, Loesch – They’re Not Obtuse, They’re Not Opportunistic, They’re Liars…
The Last Refuge ^ | April 30, 2016 | sundance

Posted on 04/30/2016 4:05:01 PM PDT by monkapotamus

As a general principle no conversations have involved more varied opinions than discussions about the supposed “conservative” media and their seeming cognitive dissonance when it comes to issues surrounding Senator Ted Cruz.

Some people think these voices were just hoodwinked by Cruz and now their ego won’t permit them to admit the falsehood. Others think the pundits are too close to the candidate to see the inherent issues and contradictions; some propose their punditry is connected to financial motives. Perhaps it’s a combination therein, but many people just can’t figure it out...

All of those aforementioned voices know this fact. Limbaugh, Levin, Beck and Loesch are not stupid, they know the construct of how this all came down.

You see, it takes an intentional action to ignore the truth of how Senator Ted Cruz created, supported, and advocated for Trade Promotion Authority. An advocate cannot claim a position fundamentally disconnected from reality without intentionally desiring to do so.

That’s why these pundit voices cannot be just merely making mistakes, flawed thinking, or errors in judgment. It’s not intellectual dishonesty at play here, it’s just flat out ordinary dishonesty.

Lying.

You don’t know what evangelicals are. From your comments, it appears that you have lumped all low church Protestants together and identified them as ‘evangelicals’. It just isn’t so.

The weird religious crap uttered by Cruz’s wife and father and proxies is NOT any part of evangelism. They are even cutting and pasting Mormon “prophecy” into their road show.

This is very similar to when conservatives are tarred with the neocon name, ideas and agendas, when the neocons are not one bit conservative in the traditional sense.

Evangelical voters on balance have REJECTED this erroneous, even blasphemous lunacy.

Frankly, his self defense after the NYT story was as bad as the story, and convinced me that Limbaugh has NEVER been the person I thought he was for 15 years.

Agree. Limbaugh has been agnostic on Trump.

Limbaugh is not a partisan for Cruz or Trump. He has done his best to be fair to both and to explain both. He is nothing  like Levin and Beck who are neverTrumps and unabashed Cruz boosters. Limbaugh has still managed to get Trump supporters and Cruz supporters screaming out "unfair!!!" at various times.

I agree. I thought they were voices for us, and I pushed aside some niggling worries I had. Now I see I was played all along. I think of the times Rush thanked us for our prayers and told us how much we mean to him. What a load of crap. If he really cared, he wouldn’t lie to us for money, or omit topics essential to constitutional conservatives.

Do you know an easy way to link the payola to Rush Limbaugh? Or is it only to I heart radio, and the payola is only assumed?

Yes. Someone called the talkers on the right here in the last 2 days something like “approved dissenters” to keep listeners in our box, feeling like we have a voice, like it had any effect.

Limbaugh does not understand economics. He is like a child on the subject. So his ignorance on NAFTA is not a reasoned position in favor of globalism. It is really nothing more than him seeing his enemies (unions, leftists) opposing NAFTA and him surmising that it should make him for it.

Agreed. This post had some serious sh** in it. If Cruz weren’t already done, he would be if that essay were widely read.

And I’d still like to see the payola links. We MADE these talk show hosts. It would be nice to at least stop making them.

Dirty, rotten, Chinese bought and paid for scoundrel. Once again taking part in lower the threshold for treaty making so the executive branch can get its way. Corker was a neat trick they sought to repeat. Sickening.

From the link.
I hate slick lawyers like Dirty Teddy. They always get away with everything since the laws get so complicated very few can follow them.Heres one example.

“On June 24th HR2146 (TPA without TAA) Then passed the Senate (Ted Cruz did not attempt to block or filibuster because this was the original plan all along). The bill passed in the Senate 60-38 (3/5ths passage rule).

http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?&congress=114&session=1&vote=00219

President Obama now had “fast track trade authorization” to complete the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal; and thanks to Senator Ted Cruz President Obama only needed 51 votes to pass it.

On June 29th 2015 Obama signed Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and HR2146 became law. President Obama now has the legislative vehicle (TPA) he needs to see TPP (the actual deal itself) get through the Senate.

It would now take more votes to block the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal than to approve it. Thanks to Senator Ted Cruz and Speaker Paul Ryan the threshold for legislative approval was lowered.”

Only a slick lawyer career politican would try that type of flim flam. TPA is where he lost me for good after being a supporter of his for many years.

Exactly just what's going on. Slick assed lawyers stealing delegates and pushing NWO legislation while no one is looking.

Limbaugh went south and all in for Cruz in early March as near as I can figure. At that time a lot of us called him on it and he vassaled for a few days and then went back to covert shilling for the Dirty Teddy every chance he got.

It wasn't so much that Limbaugh was shilling for Cruz the problem many of us had is that he was pulling or supporting anyone at all during a primary.

Meanwhile we have Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity leading the way when it comes to objectivity. They surely will replace the aging Limbaugh as the leaders of the conservative movement as the years pass by. We don't want that from the supposed leader of conservatives.

W need fairness, objectivity, and analysis of what goes on not bias.

Instead, we got a jealous, aging, deaf, former #1 voice of conservative radio deciding that he would stop being fair and balanced most likely due to jealousy.

Others claim that Limbaugh was influenced by his brother a dirty teddy supporter or his lawyer Levin who is all in for the dirtbag cruzer. But, truth is Limbaugh is seldom influenced by anyone when it comes to making up his own mind. He considers himself the ultimate authority and says so frequently.

Therefore, the only reasonable answer to his bias seems to be jealousy.

It's obvious he could answer most of the questions that have been occasional stumbling blocks for the Donald and Limbaugh has to be saying to himself "why isn't it me? Why the Donald."

Thus you come up with an answer as to why the bias as most probably jealousy.

I must disagree. Limbaugh was a huge influence in my radio career and a role model of sorts. He knows radio better than 99% of those on the air and has the capability of being the best broadcaster anywhere should he choose to be.

I supported him almost 100% for many years until around the first of March when he went biased supporting a candidate, any candidate, happened to be Cruz, instead of being a leader of conservatives and remaining objective.

He still has days of specific analysis that are second to none and should be respected.

But, Limbaugh has ceased to be the leader of talk radio in my mind. Instead I look to Hannity, Laura Ingraham and a few others.

Rush let jealousy overcome objectivity.

Limbaugh does ignore a lot of topics that should be explored. And he has a habit of going "long" on all too many topics supposedly so everyone is on board. His excuses are not going over the head of some of the audience and new people every 15 minutes. He keeps the level of the conversation between first and second year of college and a changing audience every 15 minutes.

Strangely, Limbaugh could learn a lot from Michael Savage if he had the IQ Savage has which he clearly does not. Savage is fearless and will approach topics in a rapid fire movement and take on issues that few other hosts dare.

Sadly, Savage frequently dares to break the eleventh commandment of "though shall not speak ill of other talk show hosts" which keeps him persona non grata in radio circles.

Other hosts will replace Limbaugh's deficiencies if they already haven't.

God gave Glenn the ability to foretell the future, so that he can "see over the horizon."

President Cruz will surely want to have Glenn in the White House as a trusted advisor.

During their Iowa swing together, Cruz could barely control his affection for Beck.

"What an extraordinary, visionary, passionate thinker," he gushed at one Iowa stop.

"Other hosts will replace Limbaugh's deficiencies if they already haven't."

He is here and needs to be syndicated, and that is Jeff Kuhner, on WRKO 680 am out of Boston

I gave up on Rush a year ago after finding this guy and it was related to loved ones potentially moving to the greater Boston area and I haven't looked back.

Start here: http://www.wrko.com/kuhner-report

IMHO if he goes national he will kick Rush's butt, he is that good.....
