“GOP Women” are at the root of most of what’s wrong with the party IMHO.
They’re the ones who assemble voting blocks to scuttle pro-life legislation. They’re the ones who, according to Rush Limbaugh, browbeat and henpeck their GOP husbands to the point that they don’t dare actually DO anything about abortion.
I know as a Republican woman that I will let him decide. Don’t care was the VP’s plumbing looks like.
How funny would it be if also said: “Carly, would you run on the ticket with me?” That would really toss a hair ball in to the rink. Cruz: “Sorry hombre, she’s already spoken for.” Shoot out at the okee dokee corral Nah. Cause then k-sick would get the nod.
I personally think Jan Brewer would be a brilliant choice. We’ll see though...
Hillary has already locked up the divorced men vote for Trump, don’t blow it
Traditionally, the VP choice is strategic. Not a tactical ploy in a battle to even get a nomination. It is a choice for the winner, the nominee, to cement the case against the Democrat opponent.
Cruz wasted that trying to make a case he should be nominee in a contest that he has already lost with the voters.
I hate identity politics.
I’d bet money on Susana Martinez from NM.
Kills two birds with one stone.
Marsha Blackburn for Veep.
Susana Martinez. He gets the women and minorities.
I recall Trump saying that for VP, he wanted someone with legislative experience (since he has none) who could help him get bills through Congress. Governors aren’t going to fit that criteria (Martinez, Brewer, Haley, Christie, etc.) & neither will people like Ben Carson. Maybe he has dumped legislative experience as a criteria now that he’s in the depths of the campaign & sees what/who most with “legislative” experience really are ... corruptocrats at best. Jeff Sessions seems to me to be the logical pick if Trump is still thinking the way he was earlier on. Trump doesn’t need a woman as his VP ... in fact, I personally think it would be a sign of PC pandering if he chose one.
Republicans / Conservatives engage in identity politics just as much as the Left, while decrying it
Look at his family....Look at his daughter.
Blackburn
The premise is wrong. Mr. Trump doesn’t have a problem with women, unless those women are anti-American feminazi’s.
I suspect many of these Republican ‘women’ are of the same mindset as most of the Republican ‘men’, namely, RINO’s.
At this juncture, anyone who is stupid enough to put political correctness above saving this country can stick it.
Everyone is finally realizing trump is the nominee. That’s the good news. Now everyone will try to run the general for him. The bad news. Trump hold steady and do what you want. You are good at it.
I know!! he could pick Caitlyn!!!! That would cover all the bases in one swoop. :-P
