John Boehner once hired Ted Cruz to be his lawyer
Business Insider ^ | 4/28/16 | Allan Smith

Former House Speaker John Boehner ripped into Sen. Ted Cruz in a memorable fashion during a Wednesday appearance, prompting Cruz to say he "doesn't know" Boehner.

"I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life," Boehner said, dubbing Cruz "Lucifer in the flesh."

But a closer look at their history reveals the two weren't always enemies. In fact, long before Boehner saw Cruz as Lucifer, the 2016 Republican presidential candidate was actually his lawyer.

Exactly, FT. Cruz comes to Washington to shake things up and barely speaks 50 words with the Speaker?? What the hell has he been doing with his time, then??

Or maybe because Boehner was never a Senator. But then, I’m sure you knew that....

Press secretary Catherine Frazier said: “He was a junior associate and his involvement didn’t extend beyond assisting with briefs and attending meetings with [Boehner’s] staff.”

Boehner is like a bad jock rash. It often comes back to irritate you.

If there were a theme song to characterize Mr. B, it could be one of the following:

“Who let the Boehner out”. Woof, woof.
“Liar”
“Crying”
“I’m Mr. Blue”
“Tears on My Pillow”
“Lonely Teardrops”

And in the wise words of Ford Fairlane, he’s a “Snapperhead”.

Cruz said he and Mike Lee tried to set up a meeting with Boehner, but Boehner refused, saying there’s nothing to discuss.

Kind of shoddy reporting. Says McDermott was a Republican. He was a dem.

In the case against McDermott, Boehner’s attorneys argued in a court filing that “private litigation to enforce the federal wiretapping act serves governmental interests of the highest order.”

Boehner’s suit stemmed from McDermott’s leak of a 1996 phone conversation in which Boehner and House Republican leaders discussed how to spin an ethics investigation involving then-Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.). Earlier this year, McDermott was ordered to pay about $1.1 million to Boehner and his attorneys for violating Boehner’s privacy.

If you say good morning to your lawyer you best expect a bill.

I am sure they kept it to business.

That said Boner is a turd.

Just today I exposed one group telling me not to speak to the other group and their boss telling them not to talk to me ALL in the name of smoothing out the process.

It happens ALL the time.

How old are you? LOL

One of the Best boss’s I ever had would chat up the enemy face to face, be pleasant and them destroy them with the extracted information.

Most people just park blindly in “camps”

Fact is that Ted Cruz does not let people get away with insider crap.

That does not make him the guy pulling the crap.

Donald just bellows and hires lawyers.
