Is former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown in the running to be Donald Trump's pick for vice president pick if he gets the Republican nomination?
Brown told WCVB he was in New York with Trump Tuesday night and met with him for about 90 minutes.
Brown is clearly AWFUL. He’s not a conservative. You cannot pick someone who is good on one issue (allegedly) but crappy overall. That’s ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. He’s ok to run for the Senate in New England, not for national office.
Pro-abortion running mate= “yuge” trouble
You’re single issue immigration? Well abortion is the biggest single issue vote getter, there are a lot of people that vote “pro-life, period”. Should not even be considered.
And he’s a loser, he lost races in 2 states, Trump doesn’t like losers and he doesn’t need a loser.
I keep hearing talk about Condi. I don’t want anybody from Bush. Thoughts?

I agree about 2nd amendment. The platform will have to be unequivocally unobstructed right to keep and bear arms, have access to ammo, and have the right to personal/family defense at all times.
I’d also like to see Christie recant on the gay teen therapy bill he signed. The same way that education should be local, child rearing should be family-based.

No, unless you think being pro-abortion, pro-Romneycare, pro-gay marriage, and anti-2nd Amendment qualifies as “conservative.” There is more to conservatism than border control.
Trump stated that his first concern would be if the person would make a good president and secondly that he/she could help with congress. My guess is Gingrich who I think would probably be a pretty good choice.
At one time, his moves were so inept, I was convinced he was secretly in league with Trump.
For sure, it WON"T be Ted Cruz. Anyone holding on to that fantasy can let go. Ted has waited too long to cut a deal, which I think he could have done a month ago.

I would assume that the GOP-E isn’t going to have much say in the matter if Trump is nominated. Wasn’t that one of the valid selling points to his candidacy? He has plenty of possibilities to choose from. Tim Scott has wafer thin credentials. Scott Brown is an election defeat looking for an opportunity to happen.
Perhaps we could give Christie time to change, perhaps.

If abortion is the single biggest issue vote getter, gun rights is probably a close 2nd. Brown is equally terrible on both of those. We don’t need someone a heart beat away who goes all Brady Campaign every time there is a mass shooting, like Brown did after Sandy Hook.
That’s who I think it should be. Newt Gingrich would be a good choice if he wants someone who knows the inner workings of Congress and for crafting policy. He would bring more conservative street-cred to the ticket. The down side is it’s two older white guys.

One thing about Christie i DO like is how quickly he read the tea leaves, got the memo and shifted the gears. looking at his face today, it was as if he was thinking out loud “Here is a man I can follow, who I can get somewhere with, who can advance the messed up crap in this country... who knows, maybe I could follow in his footsteps... my mouth is just as direct as his... if only I could.... “ well you know.
I think he could step up and support the agenda and cut hillary off at the knees, and would not do anything but grin while waiting for her ambulance to cross the bridge...

If one were making a list of WORST choices, Brown would be on the list. He has a voting record, and it was along the same lines as Kirk and Collins.
