Donald Trump has reached 50 percent support from Republicans and Republican-leaners nationally for the first time since the beginning of the NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll in late December. This milestone is significant as the 2016 primary heads into its final few weeks of contests, as there has been intense speculation that Trump's support has a ceiling. Though his support has hovered in the high 40s since mid-March, the front-runner had yet to secure half of Republican voters.
These results are according to the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking poll conducted online from April 18 to April 24 of 10,707 adults aged 18 and over, including 9,405 registered voters.

No ... you’ve just been forced to report it
He’s getting out any day now...
OMG, panic!
:-)
Cruz-Kasich is like the Maginot Line organized overnight. One-state-wonder Buckeye Kasich must have the title of “greatest gall in politics”. But he could end up as the VP candidate.
I was trying to be nice by not putting (26% Cruz) in the title... :^)
Cruz supporters were stabbed in the back. Not all of them will go to Trump as some of them will be bitter and stay home.
But they have been betrayed, that is for sure. Cruz turned out to be such a phoney and an establishment stooge. It is no wonder that his fellow senators detest him. He is a two-faced lying scheming cheating shyster who will pursue personal ambition at all cost.

With that last lines description, he certainly meets all the criteria to be a lawyer.

“Cruz supporters were stabbed in the back. Not all of them will go to Trump as some of them will be bitter and stay home.”
This is true with every candidate. If Cruz had won, some Trumpets would stay home. If the R candidate doesn’t promise to outlaw abortion as his first act in office, those people will stay home and give the election to Hillary with a song in their hearts.
We need to get behind whoever is in the R slot for this election and quit this in-fighting.
And Hillary has had 49% this whole time.
Judging from post 12 there isn’t much chance of that.
From Republicans. Which I guess means 25% overall.
I think Kasich burned that bridge down.
I hope so. Kasich is a disgusted leftist at best. Boy did the mask come off this election. So many have been exposed for the pestilence they represent.
Trump makes politicians poke their little heads up out of their fox holes, all the while making noises that identify their true species.
