“Cruz supporters were stabbed in the back. Not all of them will go to Trump as some of them will be bitter and stay home.”
This is true with every candidate. If Cruz had won, some Trumpets would stay home. If the R candidate doesn’t promise to outlaw abortion as his first act in office, those people will stay home and give the election to Hillary with a song in their hearts.
We need to get behind whoever is in the R slot for this election and quit this in-fighting.
Judging from post 12 there isn’t much chance of that.
We need to,educate people that no president will outlaw abortion
That battle ground is in the states and then the USSC
Which will never outlaw abortion
The way to end abortion is to,raise up individual morality until it dominates the collectivE
>>We need to get behind whoever is in the R slot for this election and quit this in-fighting.
Why? The GOP demonstrated that it wants to be the party of globalism, cheap labor, and nothing else. It betrays every conservative value through the death by a thousand cuts and we keep accepting their betrayal by supporting them in the next election.
We are the abused wife who attacks the cops when they come to arrest the abuser because he promises that he’ll stop hitting us as soon as we get rid of the cops.
Some times you just have to throw a few things into a suitcase and flee in the night. Trump has exposed the GOP for what it is and now everyone can see it. Likewise the Democrat party has exposed itself too by using sleazy party rules to keep Bernie from getting the delegates he has earned.
We got behind the RINO Romney and look what that got us OBAMA.
And whilst some Cruzites may stay home, when Trump runs against Hillary, Trump has brought in more than enough to cover that stupidity AND some of the Bernie supporters, who refuse to vote for Hillary, will vote for Trump to punish her.
We DO need to get behind the GOP nominee, UNLESS the GOPE pulls a fast one and tries to shove a Romney, Ryan, or worse down our collective throats.
