Ted Cruz's presidential campaign has a short list of potential vice presidential picks that includes former rival Carly Fiorina, campaign aides announced Monday.
Cruz's campaign manager tweeted that they "have narrowed our VP candidates to a short list and are going thru the normal processes associated with picking a running mate." A top aide to Fiorina confirmed to NBC News that the former Hewlett-Packard CEO who endorsed Cruz earlier this year was on the list.
The vice presidential candidate selection process has typically been a secretive one in modern presidential politics. Candidates generally shy away from talking publicly about the vetting until they secure their parties' nominations.
Cruz currently trails frontrunner Donald Trump by almost 300 delegates.
John Kasich's campaign confirmed to NBC News they also are vetting potential vice presidential picks. But chief strategist John Weaver told NBC News, "We are conducting a deliberative process and not in public."

Sorry, I am a victim of the California Education system—I am a crappy speller. I think Rudy would offer little to Trump—and Carly is too much in the tank with Ted Cruz. I would like to see her as Governor of California. As for the Charge of the light brigade—I have memorized the whole poem! Have you?
I agree. Cruz is too much of a narcissist to recognize any limits to his perfection. He and his father believe that he is the “anointed one”
Ted Cruz
Cruz’s father is creepy as is his son. While I don’t necessarily believe the National Enquirer, he certainly was a proponent of Castro - even in the United States.
I don’t understand Cruz’s parentage - it is as mixed up as Obama’s - hidden, obfuscated and lied about. The Donald meanwhile, has a Scottish-American mother who simply raised children and an American father. I’m sick of these mutts - I long for two parents born on American soil and lovers of America. Trump comes closest to this bill.
"I would say that Ted Cruz is just like any other politician. He says one thing in Manhattan. He says another thing in Iowa. He says whatever he needs to say to get elected and then he's going to do as he pleases. I think the American people are tired of the political class that promises much and delivers much of the same."

On "'Meet the Press', she called upon Congress to pass the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act. The bill would immunize companies like Google from lawsuits resulting from consumer information shared with government. The effect would be a massive institutional rollback of personal privacy.
There is a level of collaboration thats required between the private sector and the public sector to detect and repel attacks, Fiorina said on NBCs Meet the Press on Sunday. That requires an act of Congress. There is a bill thats been languishing, frankly, in Congress for several years now. We need to get that bill passed so that level of collaboration is possible. "Outside of passing the cyberbill, Fiorina said, Its important to recognize that these cyberattacks that have been going on against the federal government systems, none of those are a surprise Weve known for over a decade the Chinese were coming after our most important systems."
****** Fiorina majored in medieval history at Stanford yet weeks after 9/11 claimed in a direct quote of Fiorina's text comprising the last 500 words of a 3,600-word speech given on September 26, 2001 about Islamic civilization - "There was once a civilization that was the greatest in the world." As disgusting as the timing of that September 2001 declaration was, it clearly was not the only time Fiorina spoke of Islam with resplendent admiration.... Carly Fiorina, Gaslighting, Islam, Her Relationship To Clinton Global Initiative, and Progressive Agenda
"Please read the
and pay close attention to the closing paragraphs. What you will note is an almost eerie similarity to current Secretary of State John Kerry vis-a-vis the Jobs for Jihad program he, and his globalist co-horts, have been advocating for the past three years.
Read everything written by Fiorina and then ...
Next example look at the following reception by

Choice quotes from the link provided:
Fiorina opposition research report "As a surrogate for John McCain's campaign, Fiorina was essentially kicked off the McCain campaign when she said that neither John McCain nor Sarah Palin could run a major corporation."

Another item worthy of mention given the above detail she was fired from the McCain campaign:

***** Fiorina Named 19th Worst CEO of ALL Time. In May 2009, Portfolio compiled lists of the 20 best and 20 worst CEOs ever. Fiorina was 19th on the "Worst CEOs" list, with the magazine writing, "A consummate self-promoter, Fiorina was busy pontificating on the lecture circuit and posing for magazine covers while her company floundered. She paid herself handsome bonuses and perks while laying off thousands of employees to cut costs. The merger Fiorina orchestrated with Compaq in 2002 was widely seen as a failure. She was ousted in 2005." Portfolio also noted that HP stock lost half its value while Fiorina was CEO. [Porfolio, 5/09]
"What led to her firing, finally, was the disconnect between the company's erratic performance and her insistence that the strategy was great and everything was just fine. "
Ten years after she (FioRINO) was fired from HP, why has she NEVER gotten a job offer to be Chief Executive of ANY company?
Lyin’ Ted/Ugh..That Face 2016! We can’t lose!
Damn! Impressive! Have you ever been wrong about anything?
I couldn’t agree more, Miss M. I couldn’t agree more.
A guy who cant win primaries. Ted the nut, should shut up and go home. Its all about him, so he ll continue to drag America through the mud. Open borders Ted.
Its seems like Cruz is being blackmailed, for the payoffs
Why is this even a story? The lunatic has lost the nomination...his only plan is to deprive the people of their power and steal it. But, I have a feeling people are really beginning to get disgusted with him now.
Indeed.
Jeez, little wormy Jeff Roe, right in the stink of it all.
Desperation looks so bad
Awesome. I like it! A worthy match indeed.
Good! I like her. She’s 100% common sense, she’s a self-made woman, and I can see her taking a positon of power with patriotic stride.
Always a good idea to have someone close to you, more annoying than you are, so folks won’t focus on you.
Yep, I can see Ted picking Carly.
Besides, she’s more masculine than he is, and he’s more feminine than she is/
Quiet the real resume!
Thanks for posting it!
the bad news for carly is this...
being on Ted’s SHORT list today, is no guarantee that once on that SHORT list, if Teddy gets what he wants, the same person might be on his SH _ T list the following day.
Ted’s a liar, he cheats and he stinks like a warm cow pie. He sends women checks for 500,000, for no apparent reason, but like everything else he does, it looks and smells like a payoff or coverup.
No more dirty TED. He CANNOT and MUST NOT be trustTED.
Tomorrow is the equivalent of custer’s last stand... and TED is getting custered... aka “shlonged” big time, New York style.
yup... he did the deeds, now he owes them the MONEY.
I think you have her confused with Mr. Trump.
You're the one who proposed all of those people; just YOU! None of whom make any sense at all. Neither does wanting iCarly for governor make any sense either!
“shes a self-made woman,”
What did she make? She worked FOR someone else, never for herself. She has always been collecting a check. If that’s self-made then I should be running!
