Ted Cruz and John Kasich issued startling statements Sunday night about their paths ahead, the first sign the two campaigns are coordinating to deny Donald Trump the Republican presidential nomination.
Within minutes of each other, the pair issued statements saying they will divide their efforts in upcoming contests with Cruz focusing on Indiana and Kasich devoting his efforts to Oregon and New Mexico. The strategy is aimed at blocking Trump from gaining the 1,237 delegates necessary to claim to GOP nomination this summer.

Good comment, Gov.!
Vote Trump
Ha! That’s funny.
The problem with a candidate who believes the ends justify the means, is that you’re never sure whether you’re and end or a means to them.
The uniparty endorsed candidates team up.
Of course. Hardly a surprise. The circle jerk is complete.
A few of us have posted that Cruz is a creep. I do not know what made me think that but the more I learned about him, the less I liked him. Looks like our instincts were right.
This is the RNC’s first line of defense...I’m sure they have strategies for every outcome...It’s going to get really ugly...
But what they do not seem to realize is that if they keep pushing their gravy train ideas they will totally derail the GOP and there will be a new party arising from their selfishly created chaos.
I stole your Never-cruz.jpg and I’m going to use it all over the internet. Hope you don’t mind.
” temporary alliance with the conservative base to help him get elected, nothing more.”
I guess that’s why they cleared out of here tonight. Marching orders: Stick to the script and don’t #@$&up !!!
Cross exam, plaintiff’s lawyer to coroner:
“So Doctor, I believe you testified that the victim was clinically dead on your table at 1:45 PM. Is that correct? You’re sure of that”
Coroner: (hesitating, looking at jury) “Well, yes. In that I just testified from my recorded notes of the autopsy that I had removed his brain at approximately 1:30 PM ... but I suppose we could have put the paddles on him and enrolled him in law school.”
Obviously. I didn't argue otherwise.
And thus fails that worn out argument. Again.
Which argument? You mean that a majority doesn't want Trump? That statement was a representation of the math and was in direct response to a specific comment about "the will of the people."
Here's another representation of the math: the majority of the Republican electorate wants "none of the above." This primary is a filthy mess.
Done with Cruz. While not my choice, I didn’t like some of the nasty things that some Trump supporters and liberals said about him. There were even times I questioned whether I should be supporting Cruz due to social conservative issues, but something always led me back to Trump. Obviously I made a wise choice in picking and voting for Trump. Cruz doesn’t care about the will of the voters. Does he or Kasich really believe Trump supporters will “unite” behind them after this stunt? They may manage to win the battle, but you know what? They will lose the war because they will never win a general with this behavior.
Very well done! I needed a good laugh. Too bad a lot of the time there is more truth than fiction to that kind of comment.
Wonder how Rush Limbaugh will spin this for Cruz tomorrow.
What a hoot.
Has any other freep noticed (rab can but wounder) how fast the gob tank lands on every freep issue or comment? Seems gob hover about the free re port on a 24-7 for first lick spinn.
It is good to but noticed, better to br recognized.
Raben
The Uni-Party has stolen our ballot box.
Only one box left.
Hopefully, that bit about our ballot box being stolen gets aborted.
If not.....
So you support what Cruz and Kasich are doing? If they are successful they will not unite the party because there won’t be a GOP to unite. In essence their egos along with whatever they OWE their donors are fully willing to destroy one party and seat either a Socialist or a Communist.
I think Cruz got the better end of the deal because Indiana is winner-take-all but Oregon and NM are proportional, from what I see online. So Kasich might be giving up any Indiana delegates while Cruz could still get some in OR and NM even if he comes in third.
They must know each and every point you expertly made. So the question becomes, WHY?
This is broadcast by CNN so it gets wide coverage. Wouldn’t one think the voters in Indiana, New Mexico and Oregon would see this and react negatively by not voting for either Cruz or Kasich?
I don’t see how this helps them. It makes them see like sore losers.
