Breaking: Ted Cruz makes outrageous statement on voterless election win in Wyoming

Ted Cruz on Wyoming win: "This is how elections are won in America."

Once again, voters are not represented in the process. Instead, "votes" for the nominee are gained by backroom politics. Another corrupt process by the GOP establishment.

From Fox News:

Ted Cruz on Saturday won all 14 delegates in the Wyoming GOP convention -- a relatively small number but enough for the Texas senator to declare victory and keep GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump from securing the nomination.

“We are likely to have a battle in Cleveland to decide who is the nominee,” Cruz told party members before they picked the delegates. “If you don’t want to see Donald Trump as the nominee, … then I ask you to please vote for the men and women on this slate.”

The Wyoming process mirrored that of Colorado, which was engulfed by political controversy after hosting a similar convention last week.

Stop being a jerk and direct your comments to the content of the article.

Did Cruz just win delegates via another voterless contest, or did he not? Are you comfortable with that process? If so, what is the point of holding elections at all? Why not just let the party insiders choose their nominees and leave the broader public out of it altogether?

Do you honestly think the people would be chomping at the bit to vote for such insider selected props? Of course they wouldn’t, and that’s exactly what’s going to happen if the people perceive that they’ve been defrauded by the party.

This is how elections are won in America,” Cruz added

It's also how elections are lost.

Some good points. But to then imply that the delegate voting committee s in Wyoming aren't working class people is disingenuous at best. And by the way I was talking about Wyoming. You replied about Colorado.

>>I would so like to see Mr. Cruz lose every primary from here on out, by large numbers.
I would like to see him crash and burn, for his name to be synonymous with lying, cheating, crooked politicians forever.

From your lips to God’s ears, dear Duchess, at the very least.

Unfortunately you omitted the facts about how those rules are not being followed by the Republican Party officials.

But their votes did not count. How is that too hard to understand? What’s the point of voting if your vote won’t be counted?

It’s tyranny when people vote and have their votes discarded.

>>This man has shown he was never anti=establishment and more of a sleaze who was running for office before he ran for that senate seat.
He stood there attacking the party and stood there on the floor only to lie to all of us.

Yes, a complete FRAUD from the beginning. A lesson for us all as to just how far the Tyrants will go to fool the People.

Have also until recently, been on good terms with 2ndDivisonVet.

Evidently, partisanship has now interrupted that. Sad but true.

You have asserted something as fact, namely that the Colorado GOP officials did not follow the rules. Please supply your source for such a claim.

We're talking about less than 800 people, most of whom are retirees, political officials, the same people who come around year after year, and freaks and losers. It's disingenuous to claim such a group of people represents anybody.

I don’t know. Seems to me the public NEVER or rarely used to get to vote directly on nominees. Then in the 70s there was a big push to reform the system so the public would have more say, and that’s how we got the primary system we have in most places today, but some states still don’t do it that way.

I say down with the whole two party system frankly. There’s no way for enough factions to get adequate representation.

Apologies for the double post. I have a damaged right shoulder and the muscle spasms cause me to jerk my right hand from time to time.

Thanks for letting everyone here know that some Trump supporters feel retirees aren’t working class people.and possibly freaks and losers.

Don’t ever presume to tell me what to do in any way, shape or form.

Let me guess. You crapped your wheelchair (again). Don't take it out on other people. You should also fix your attitude. You're a full fledged member of the Tediban these days, despite being on the Romney-ban once upon a time. Quite a reversal, from RINO Mittens to "TruConservative."

Remind me again, besides bundling for the Cruz campaign, do you get paid for any other functions you serve for Cruz? Money would make this transformation from Romney-ite to Cruzite make sense to me.
