I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.
My reply:
Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).
End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.
All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors hes defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).
No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.
Whats democrat about any of the above?
Whats not conservative?
Whats not to like?
And I’ll add a few more:
Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.
Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!
Make America Great Again!
I had the privilege of doing PR work for an organization that had invited him and Nancy for a fundraiser. It was a one-time thing for my company, but thoroughly memorable. He was amazing to look at (from across the room), so happy and genial. I miss those days, too.
My whole point was that there is a narrative out there of Donald Trump built up by the corrupt establishment and the enemedia.
I was trying to point out to you that this post/thread by FenwickBabbitt, pretty much debunks the corrupt establishment and the enemedia's narrative of Donald Trump.
A FReeper discussion on the history of Trump's conservative pro-America positions
You could have just stayed in your enemedia bubble and disagreed but what do you do, you bring in the enemedia, CNN, to try to justify your position. So I point out, they are part of the enemedia trying to work to destroy Trump and now you want to deflect. Talk about being obtuse.
FWIW, one thing I've learned in my lifetime is that the enemedia cannot be trusted for anything. They are full of elitists, statists that love big government and the power that goes with it run by them. They are anti-freedom and anti-liberty and are threatened by an outsider like Trump and what he stands for. Of course they are going to lie, deceive and distort what he stands for because he is a huge threat to their position and power.
I've been around Free Republic since 1998 and read here because this was a great place to vet the news. There were/are smarter and wiser people than I here and 99.9% of the time, they got the news vetted correctly.
That was a great tool to battle statist liberals online until they just got bat-poop crazy because, I believe, they are seeing what they believe, fail, since it has been put further in practice under 0bama. And the 100 year statist progressive movement in this country has failed us big-time when you look at the massive debt it has put this country in.
We have to be so careful because the corrupt establishment and its enemedia is going to try to do anything and everything they can do to deceive Americans in to not tearing down what took them at least 100 years to build. That's one reason they fear Donald Trump so much so we have to be so cautious on what they report on him.
That's why I liked FenwickBabbitt's post/thread so much, because it pretty much debunk's the whole corrupt establishment's narrative on Trump and THAT is what I was trying to point out to you.

If you cannot see the bias just WATCHING it, you must be blind.
America was still America then. Not bought & sold by a handful
of wealthy multi national corporations. Back then, only 70% of Congtress was owned. Now 98% are prostitutes, and they are a Uniparty....dividing up the pork, and bankrupting the US Treasury!
If I point out something he's said that's inconsistent with other statements, that's accurate. If I take something he's said like 'build the wall' and call him racist, that's following the narrative.
Beyond that, I can't be more clear. The man's made contradictory statements on political positions - that's a fact, not an opinion or MSM agenda. If you believe him, that's your decision. I don't and it's not from undue influence from the big, bad media.

All I can do is shake my head. You obviously didn't read his post/thread.
Where I've highlighted, Donald Trump has never been a politician before, everything he did before was as a businessman, big difference. But it's part of the corrupt narrative that the establishment and enemedia has done to combine the two
SMH, also the fact that you don't see the enemedia for what it really is, says a lot about you.

That has to be he most ridiculous reasoning I've ever heard. By that definition, nothing he's ever said prior to announcing his candidacy means anything. The previous summary would also carry no weight, since he held no political office at those times.
I've never held political office, either. However, if I ever ran, you can believe my posting history here would be scrutinized by those who disagree with me, because they'd be correctly construed as political positions whether I had been elected previously, or not.
The truth is he hasn’t been a politician and MANY of the things he did as a businessman, has been equaled to as if he’d been a politician, in that narrative, and it is a big difference.
I’m having a hard time taking you seriously since you have no clue about the harm the enemedia has done to our Constitutional Republic and continues to do, and the harm they are doing now. Any conservative that has been here for any length of time should understand that but what do you do, you run right to them to try to justify your position.

I’m done with you. You’re denser than a white dwarf star. Like it or not, Trump uses media to get his message out. He has a record of statements and they’re contradictory. There’s no disputing that.
Have a nice day!

“You lost me at Lyin Ted. That reveals enough about your way of processing (or not processing) information that the rest is chatter.”
You act just like a Hillary Democrat, hearing only what you want to hear, keeping inside your safe room, and misrepresenting reality as if it does not exist. Trump has succeeded in making his Lyin’ Ted label stick to Ted Cruz only because most of the general public had already concluded on their own that Ted Cruz was a habitual liar on a scale only somewhat less than Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama. The general public (Republican, Independent, and Democrat) do not accept Ted Cruz’s claim that he can be a Canadian born citizen of Canada up until 2014 and then somehow still qualify as a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. Instead, they think Ted Cruz is lying about his citizenship and qualifications to be POTUS. Of course, you just shut that all out of your mind, pretend, and dream Ted Cruz has a snowball’s chance in the nether regions of actually attracting enough Republican, Independent, and Democrat votes to defeat the Democrat’s candidate. What is truly shameful is what you are doing to yourself be indulging in this self deception.
“Together they have a much larger base of support.”
On the contrary, Trump would lose too many votes by including Ted Cruz as a Vice President running mate. There are too many voters who will not and cannot compromise principles to vote for an illegal candidate who is ineligible for the office.
Furthermore, it would be too dangerous and a risk to Trump’s life to have Ted Cruz or another GOPe agent as a running mate. Paul Ryan and his ilk are already talking about having Trump impeached if the voters elect Trump as President. It can be assumed the Uniparty would be all too happy to position a Uniparty agent as Trump’s Vice President so this Vice President could be promoted to president after they have Trump assassinated. instead, you need someone like Allen West or another candidate who is an arch foe of the Uniparty to provide the Uniparty with the incentive to keep Trump very healthy. Note the shooting and assassination attempt on Reagan while Bush was his Vice President, the assassination of Kennedy while Johnson was his Vice president, and the assassination of Garfield while the British-Canadian citizen Chester Arthur was his Vice President.
I’m sorry, but I cannot go along with the idea that having Ted Cruz as his running mate would either reduce his conservative support or increase the possibility of him being assassinated.
But I will agree that Allen West would be a great pick for VP.
Your a child! Pathetic!
Bannings have nothing to do with supporting Cruz. Bannings are for being an asshat.
I think you have hit on something these most obnoxious of Cruziers don’t know they are asshats, they actually think they are adding something to the discussion.
Trump is optimistic. We who are following him, emulate his cheerful and positive outlook. He has faced every adversity down (media, corrupt GOPe, big money ad campaigns against him, etc., etc.).
Like all good entities (companies, etc.), the attitude of the entity almost always emulates the attitude at the top. No exception here.
I am shamed to admit that only a few months ago, I was touting a Trump/Cruz ticket as the dream team. Of course, that was before the Cruz campaign convinced me that he would be nothing but another Obama in office. Now, I have seen the error of my ways!
I wonder who would be a good running mate for Trump?
Indeed. I look forward to his lifting the country out of the deep morass that Obama has thrown us into. Positive people get good things done!
Allen West has often been proposed. He brings military and Congressional political experience to the table.
Trump has already used Governor Chris Christie, so he may be a likely choice from Trump’s point of view.
Whoever it is to be is usually a current or former Vice President, Governor, Lt. Governor, Senator, Congressman, Cabinet Officer, or Army General officer G-4 or G-5.
