Ted Cruz & John Kasich Condemned An Innocent Man…
DC Whispers ^ | April 14, 2016 | Staff

Posted on 04/14/2016 12:04:50 PM PDT by CreviceTool

Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was shredded by liberal media for having placed a hand on a female reporter who then claimed he assaulted her. Michelle Fields loudly proclaimed she had almost been thrown to the ground by Lewandowski – claims that were later proven to be false. Ted Cruz and John Kasich were all too happy to join the liberal media bandwagon and denounced both Lewandowski AND Donald Trump for the alleged incident and claimed they would have fired Mr. Lewandowski....

Face it. Your guy is losing and you can’t deal with it, so you are insulting your fellow patriots in a tantrum. It is distasteful. Ted Cruz is not my first choice, but insulting Fellow Freepers and other concerned Americans that support him is not going to do anything to make me feel better. Why would you do such a thing? Consider stepping back for a moment and simply ask yourself that question.

>The character assassination suffered by Cruz is far worse than poor Corey had to deal with,

You and your master tried to destroy the life of an inoccent man and his family. Have you no shame?

“Trump isn’t the subject of the thread.”

You seem oblivious to how Trump is repudiated by your words.

Do you even read my post? I said it was a “tempest in a tea cup”

It sounded to me like you were trying to defend cruz when he was trying to gain political points off condemning an innocent man. Which was a sleazy thing to do and to try and defend, period. But if that was not your intent, my apologies.

I am well aware of Trump’s infidelities. However, Trump never set himself up as a saintly figure, nor have any of his supporters held him out as an flawless human being. Very, very few see him as a messianic figure.

After the election is over we’ll look back at these threads and be ashamed at how we acted over a bunch of politicians.

I fear we'll have to go through several months of "told you so."

“However, Trump never set himself up as a saintly figure . . .”

And the Rev. Jeremiah Wright never set himself up as a saintly figure.

So, your point is?

Wright isn't running for president.

No need for him to represent himself in such a light.

No "national" figures have represented Trump as a Second Coming. Farrakhan said of 0bamao: "Barack Obama has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn’t care anything about. That’s a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."

Cruz has his Beck, who still claims Cruz is a messianic figure.

“However, Trump never set himself up as a saintly figure . . .”

Surprising how often Trump supporters define him as what he is not.

Trump never claimed to be a Reagan figure.

Trump never claimed to be a Republican.

Trump never claimed to be a good husband.

Trump never claimed to be against Red Chinese sweat shops.

Trump never claimed to be against big government condemning private property for big casinos.

Trump never claimed to be against greasing the palms of big democrats to get something.

Trump never said he didn't give money to the Clinton's.

Trump never claimed he didn't do business with the mob.

Trump never claimed he was against an assault weapon ban.

These are what Trump's friends say are his STRONG points. And these are some of the reasons I don't support Trump for president.

Seriously?

Is that all you have?

Chances are, Trump will be the nominee. That is most likely better than a 50/50 chance. No presidential candidate, in my lifetime, has been 100% what I wanted. Most of them have been 50%. And only one has been 80%. Looking out over the field that existed and as it stands now, my first choice is long gone. My second choice is long gone. My third choice has proven to be a slimey and squirrelly two-faced fraud. So, I am left with Trump. A flawed and imperfect man. Still better than the alternatives.

You can't resurrect the dead and you can't create that which is impossible to be. You get what you get.

“Absolutely not, but based on the law as it is written he is not innocent.”

Funny that you put it this way “not innocent”. Anyone with any decency would admit the obvious that there was nothing prosecutable....”guilty of nothing” if you will.

“The Law is an ass”

You wanted (still do, apparently) him hung out to dry. Trump, by standing by an innocent man showed his decency.

You, Kasich, Cruz exposed yourselves as petty asses, attempting still to split hairs and destroy an innocent man.

Evidence, law, common sense be damned, you’ll gossip him to his death until you convict this innocent man.

Good luck with that. You’re going to need it.

Insufficient to Prosecute” does NOT equal “innocent”!!

The man is innocent. Trump is far more decent a man than you - and I think that is what is driving you and the rest of the “holier than thou” crowd crazy.

He’s demonstrably more decent than you, apparently. Maybe that’s not setting the bar very high, but such is life.

“demonstrably more decent than you”

Oh, well....by all means, why don’t you demonstrate that assertion for the crowd?

“Oh, well....by all means, why don’t you demonstrate that assertion for the crowd?”

Why should I have to prove anything? That’s how we’re rolling on this thread, right?

You don’t like when the shoe is on the other foot, do you?

just admit Lewandowski is innocent, and you’ll restore some sense of decency to yourself.

Lesson complete.

It's not about guilt or innocence, but the seriousness of the charges.

Strange quote from a demoncrat who left a woman, not his wife, in a submerged car, late at night, fled and allowed her to drown.

In America, being a liberal means never being held to any standard of decency or moral conduct.

You should have to “demonstrate” something, because you just declared your assertion “demonstrable”.

Obviously you are wrong.
