Donald Trumps campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was shredded by liberal media for having placed a hand on a female reporter who then claimed he assaulted her. Michelle Fields loudly proclaimed she had almost been thrown to the ground by Lewandowski claims that were later proven to be false. Ted Cruz and John Kasich were all too happy to join the liberal media bandwagon and denounced both Lewandowski AND Donald Trump for the alleged incident and claimed they would have fired Mr. Lewandowski....

Trump unfavorable ratings near 65%

Oh!
Look who’s on top on the official “Jerk Scale”!
But in this case, once you have seen the video, you KNOW she made up something that never happened, and that he was totally innocent of any charge she made.
But then, lying about something doesn't matter when you can send out the kind of nonsense they did to tear down an opponent. And the media cheered while they reported it. Congrats to Ted! Well done, you showed that big meanie who was boss!
I find it interesting that so many Cruz supporters have learned that lying thing really well, and like the one they support, seemingly have no shame.
It's simply a fact that Ted went to the microphones and lied to score cheap political points that he thought he could get away with.
But that won't matter to you will it?
You must not be familiar with our court system. People are held all the time and they aren’t flight risks. It’s a bullying tactic they use to get someone to admit they are guilty.
Read the Florida law he was charged under. He was definitely guilty. But so was she for grabbing Trump. It’s a dumbass law.
Please point out where I EVER said anything about Trump in regard to the story. My post was about his supporters on this forum...
It was you that posted in this thread: “It makes me wonder if Cruz is the sort who would cavalierly cheat on his spouse.”
That is one thing you don’t have to wonder about Trump.
...but based on the law as it is written he [Lewandowski] is not innocent.
...
Your claim is wrong. Lewandowski was innocent until proven guilty and is now innocent of the charge for all time. Trying to claim otherwise by considering the law in a vacuum is wrong.
If you want to discuss the court system and other cases, then start another thread on the subject.
So why in the world are you trying to defend it? Why would anyone give an excuse for the cheap nonsense that Cruz dished out here. It’s inexcusable and despicable.
And the better point is why anyone would excuse Cruz for what he did here.
Some principled conservative he turned out to be.
I’m not... Everyone is wrong in this. Including the law.
This thread is find to use.
Trump isn’t the subject of the thread.
“Jean had stolen a loaf of bread, did time, was finally let out and then stopped ta the priest’s home. yes, he did steal some silver pieces,”
Yes, that’s pretty much what I said. Pretty good for reading it in 7th grade.
You can now go back to getting conned by Trump, sucker.
I’d love to sell you idiots a miracle cure for something. Be a billionaire. What a sucker list.
If you think American Patriots are suckers and idiots, why are you here?
In other words, he’s guilty if you can score political points off it ...”
Do you even read my post? I said it was a “tempest in a tea cup” and I would have been guilty of it 100 times when working as a bouncer.
What political points are you talking about? I’m agreeing this was a silly thing.
Trump is not remotely an American Patriot.
You may be, but you are following a draft dodger (even Trump admits he faked injury to avoid Vietnam), a repeat con man, and a buffoon.
Following an idiot con man does not you patriotic.
It makes you a sucker.
You are drinking (as aptly posted yesterday by another poster) Trump’s Rainbow Stew, in honor of Merle Haggard.
Cruz always takes the low road. He often reminds me of the Clintons.
