Colorado GOP Lied About #NeverTrump Tweet – The Account Was Not Hacked
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Apr 11th, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 04/12/2016 8:19:19 AM PDT by dynoman

The Republican party said this tweet saying the account was hacked.

But that is a lie.

The party deleted the tweet only three minutes after it was posted – meaning they still had control of the account. It was not hacked – it was a Republican party insider.

I’m not saying that’s precisely what happened. I’m simply proposing a scenario that would fit within the Colorado GOP’s characterization of the situation. Would you consider it a “hack” if your child tweeted from your computer while you were on a quick coffee break?

“But he couldn’t have possibly predicted this tweet. “

No Trump couldn’t have predicted the tweet, it was cream, just an additional free nuclear bomb they gave him to use.

Superficial and shallow thinkers always make those kinds of mistakes - strategic thinkers anticipate them and use them. That is why shallow thinkers are always in reactive mode, they make stupid mistakes. That is where Cruz is now, reacting, while Trump is proactively controlling the narrative yet again. If anything illustrates the difference between Trump and Cruz as president this does. It also explains why Trump signs 22k paychecks on the FRONT - Cruz hasn’t sign even one paycheck on the front.

There is a stark contrast between the two and it should be very clear who would be best for America.

I’d be pretty sure Trump uses a machine if he does not want to get terminal writer’s cramp, but figuratively so.

I just wonder if someone smoked something in Colorado that night. They can’t easily trace a tweet?

And something that not a lot of Cruz aficionados are confessing, is that this is not the first time the Colorado GOP got complaints for how it handles nominations.

Trump is no perfect glowing angel, but neither is he an utter dunce. He’s running as a reformer, and conduct that is consistent with that is credible. Trump isn’t playing a violin. He’s playing, er, a trump.

I think he's conducting an orchestra. He's strategically handled this race to win in all sorts of ways.

Hell, even Democrats can "stick it" to the GOP by voting for Trump!

Well this certainly does not seem to be a case of the common presidential candidate.

Same thing happened in Wisconsin. Cruz fell into the GOP machine set up and well oiled for an insider. Trump was actually going to let Wisconsin go but spent a week there because a friend asked him to.

What color is the sky in your world......

I especially like the part where all of this is carefully planned out by the super strategist trump.

People that live in reality know that trump was lacking in organization(supposedly his strength) and lost Colorado fair and square. He’s only crying foul because he doesn’t want the narrative that he’s not a good organizer to become the story....one thing trump is very good at is changing the story line

You are correct. The CO GOP spokesperson’s statement said this: “The last tweet was the result of unauthorized access to our account and in no way represents the opinion of the party. We are investigating.”

It seems to me, though, that any difference between “unauthorized access” and “hacking” exists only a strict, definitional sense as to the method used to gain access. The fact they didn’t use the word hacker is actually pretty interesting. Suggests they have more than a hunch where it came from, and it’s a little too close to home. All hackers are unauthorized users. But not all unauthorized users are hackers.

If someone gets a hold of login and password, they don’t have to change the login information.

Yes. It's the same for scores of RNC/GOP/DNC disrupters who have somehow obtained the usernames and passwords for deceased or inactive FReepers.

hack past tense: hacked; past participle: hacked

2. Use a computer to gain unauthorized access

I posted that definition on another thread. Defending what there is no rational, coherent, or ethical defense for never goes well. People trying to defend it should give it up, it's a losing battle. Yet they keep on trying to defend the indefensible. Amazing, and pathetic.

Trump never had a shot in CO. Once they decided to do away with the straw poll system last fall, the fix was in. The PTB knew that Trump would be popular, but they were not going to have any of it.

I don’t think the PTB thought it would be down to Cruz & Trump; but they were not going to risk Trump.

More than that - the actions and vote result confirms that nevertrump was the mission. There is no doubt whatsoever about that. The “we did it - nevertrump” tweet just verified nevertrump was the actual mission.

What we are witnessing are the actions of conniving self absorbed shallow thinkers, not anticipating consequences, ignoring the law of cause and effect. Now they are in a jam of their own making. Good.

Clinton’s would release the way she did those Emails as SOS.

Would like to see her release every email with Clinton Foundation in them.

How great is Trump and what fear the Clinton’s have to be doing this.

CO proves a conspiracy between the GOPe against Trump.
They are not being fair. They are proving why they need to be burned to the ground.
Can’t wait to hear how fun the protest Friday at the CO GOP went. Tar and feathers or pitchforks, which way will CO voters go?

The sad thing for the Cruz supporters is that they do not realize that those “Cruz” delegates are actually only Cruz first ballot delegates.

The GOPe decided back in August when it was Trump and Bush leading in the polls, to stop the preference poll for Colorado. It was a Bush controlled maneuver. Those delegates have been in the Colorado GOP pocket for months.

That is why the tweet was “NeverTrump” not “AlwaysCruz”.

Cruz folks don’t get this nuance, but Ted Cruz knows it.

Yes he does get it, but he’s pushing full steam ahead into a floor fight he has no idea who will win.

That’s just lunacy.

“...are actually only Cruz first ballot delegates.”

I believe that in Colorado they can vote for whoever on the first ballot.

Wow he makes me sick. To think I bought his book “A Time For Truth”. I actually believed he was “the only principled candidate in the race”. He proved how stupid I was to believe him. Six months ago no one would have believed Cruz would be where he is right now - in bed with the GOP elite.

I’ll still vote for him if he is the nominee but I’d like a refund on the book.<<<<<

Rhetorically, why would you violate your own principles then? A deceiver is a deceiver so why should he be trusted with the most important political job in the nation? You can’t trust him to make policies and practices which actually benefit the nation, because he’s busy deceiving it.

I just put that there for you to think about. It doesn’t require a public answer.
