The sad thing for the Cruz supporters is that they do not realize that those “Cruz” delegates are actually only Cruz first ballot delegates.
The GOPe decided back in August when it was Trump and Bush leading in the polls, to stop the preference poll for Colorado. It was a Bush controlled maneuver. Those delegates have been in the Colorado GOP pocket for months.
That is why the tweet was “NeverTrump” not “AlwaysCruz”.
Cruz folks don’t get this nuance, but Ted Cruz knows it.
Yes he does get it, but he’s pushing full steam ahead into a floor fight he has no idea who will win.

I believe that in Colorado they can vote for whoever on the first ballot.
