Of course, the rhetorical question of the day, what if "Shaneequa" or "Latifa" were to at this same exact location at the same exact time and ordered the same exact thing and had received a message on their cup disparaging their hair weave? The Justice Dept would launch an investigation faster than Jeff Gordon on meth. Hey, this is FL, there's plenty of Cuban owned mom-and-pop
bodegas all over the place down here that serve better coffee at more reasonable prices by good hardworking people who truly appreciate their customers. Besides, givven Starschmucks "progressive" corporate image you'd think they'd want us to BUY LOCALLY! But then agasin , business is business.

What’s wrong with this?
Truth in advertising, right?

My mother has diabetes and I would have found this message somewhat numerous. Some people need to learn to roll with the punches abit.

The employee was probably just trying to be funny. A stern talking-to would be in order from the management perspective. “Just put the name and what it is.” Also, an apology. Very insensitive.
Who wants to bet a lawsuit will come about? 50/50 shot there.
To: Jonty30
Kinda stupid to insult your customers.

That’s probably a thousand calorie drink. At Starbucks. They deserve to be insulted.

I’ve gotten to the point where I insist on this message on all products:

Did any of you see what a Starbucks employee said to the Governor of North Carolina yesterday? Does that employee still have a job? Not in my business she wouldn’t!

If my sisters had the diabetes, I might scale back on the Starbucks orders. Just a thought.

So you think it’s good business for a company to insult it’s customers?
You must also be supportive of government control of soft drinks.
