Couldn't find a story on this but this poll was conducted after the WI primary and it shows Trump killing it. With a margin like this, Trump could almost or potentially even completely shut Cruz out.

I guess 17% of New Yorkers don’t mind voting for the guy that used them as the butt of a joke. Don’t be that Chump. Vote for Trump.

Cruz should continue to campaign in New York and surrounding states until he sells them on his great charisma. I feel a breakthrough in the making. And while I'm talking strategy, I have another suggestion. Lindsay Graham should keep doing TV interviews so he can explain that he supports Cruz because that's the way to save the Republican Party from its voters. And how his friends in the Middle East are really, really afraid of a Trump presidency.
Glad to help. <^..^>

As this poll shows Trump is in deep troble in NY. With Cruz’s momentum from WI is is eating, I say eating in to the Donalds lead. The fact that Trump is even up from the last polls shows he hss paeaked, I say peaked at the polls. If Trump doesn’t get 120% of the vote in NY he should drop out of the rsce. =sarcasm

Looks like Trump took some of Kasich support. I’d rather see him in second.
Kasich is spending a boatload in attack ads against Cruz’s #NYValues fail.

What was Cruz saying about if Trump doesn’t get 50% he should drop out? I don’t think he has to worry or maybe he should.

The NY primary cannot come soon enough. I'm so tired of hearing about how Cruz "destroyed" Trump in Iowa and we have 10 more days of that kind of gloating to deal with. I congratulate Cruz on his 13 point WI win but that hardly "finishes" Trump, especially with a likely 30+ point Trump win in NY.
BTW, that's pretty much the same margin that Bernie beat Shrillary in WI, how come we aren't hearing a constant drumbeat that she is finished? By the way, Bernie has now won 7 of the past 8 contests against the Hildebeast. NY will be very interesting with regard to the Democrats as I don't get the feeling that NY is in the bag for Shrillary like it is for Trump.
Finally, I do hope that Cruz comes in second in NY. A distant second. And that Kasich is way back in third place and ends up with zero delegates.

This is what the polls showed two weeks out in NY.

With Cruz on record hating New Yorkers, it’s pretty likely that will be translated to New Jersey and Philly as well.
Cruz doesn’t care for Americans in the northeast.
I think he’ll lose to Kasich
