The Vermont senator is dangerously ignorant of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
Can he take a Mulligan? Bernie Sanders interview with the editorial board of the New York Daily News revealed a candidate more interested in platitudes and dreams than in specifics and realities. He couldnt even explain how his signature policybreaking up the big bankswould work. His campaign might as well have sent Larry David in his place. The comic is better informed.
The entire transcript is embarrassing. But when the subject turned to the Middle East, Sanders crossed the line that separates the daft from the dangerous. He not only smeared the Jewish State, he betrayed an ignorance of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that would, if he were president, lead to the loss of both Jewish and Arab lives.
Sanders appears as a totally un-kept, drooling, knuckle-dragging old communist, while Hillary fares about the same with the exception of drooling. Give her a few years.
He’s fairly kempt.
All other issues with sanders aside, he is 74 or 75 years old. Has his health even been questioned/looked into? Could he stand the stress and strain of being the POTUS? If he were elected he would be on the verge of 80 at 1st terms end. Along with all the other problems I see with this man.............I think he might be just plain TOO old.
If Bernie happened to be a Conservative I’d personally help him up the stairs to take the oath. As it is I would probably trip the old communist.
If Bernie happened to be a Conservative I’m thinking the media would be looking into his health and questioning his age ceaselessly.
Where’s Geraldo now??????
Besides her mental issues, Hillary isn’t in such hot shape health-wise either.
This could be due to her strange diet. She may have to give up Huma and booze.
There is a specific term for Jews that hate Jews and/or Israel. They are “antijews”.
Importantly, they are not inherently “antisemitic”, as many of them are very pro-Arab, a Semitic people, even though in the common parlance, antisemitism is almost exclusively used to describe anti-Jewish and anti-Israel things.
Judaism itself has a very nebulous definition. In some ways religious, to varying degrees; in other ways ethnically Semitic, but so heavily blended with other races that they have lost most of these ethnic traits.
The two major Jewish ethnic blends are the Ashkenazim and the Sephardim. Ashkenazim, or “Germanics” have German Jewish cultural and geographical origins, while Sephardim, or “Hispanics”, are so named denoting their Spanish/Portuguese Jewish cultural and geographic origins.
Then there is cultural Judaism, which has some commonalities, such as the cyclical understanding of history, being in a perpetual minority status, and the effects of both extended ghettoization and integration with other cultures.
So, as I said, Jews have a nebulous definition. But “antijews”, who often call themselves “Jewish”, are very clear about the Jews and Israel they hate. They hate all of it and them, and seek their destruction.
It is mindless to the extreme. Perhaps it reflects their self hatred, but extrapolated to an entire people. It may have some elements of racism, classism, it is often very atheist in character. At the same time it is often mindlessly idealistic, passionately embracing any crackpot philosophy as long as it promises perfection, and also hates Jews.
They are the “antijews”, and that label should be applied to them. Any pretense of their calling themselves Jewish is just ridiculous.
If Sanders pulls off a miracle and wins the nomination, he’ll pick Hillary for VP, die, then we still get Hillary.
Just call them Kapos.
Sander is ignorant period - of economics, of foreign policy, of history....
Last year, I read Paul Johnson's History of the Jews. He usually called such people "non-Jew Jews". They were self-hating Jews who eschewed everything that made the Jews unique. He included Jews like Marx and Trotsky when he used that description, so I guess an old Bolshevik like Bernie belongs on the list, too.
“Non-Jew Jews” is less accurate, because it could be taken that they were non-religious Jews or just rejected their ethnic or cultural heritage. It also doesn’t imply that they hate Jews or Israel.
This is why I selected “antijews”. Antijews can either be Jewish or not. But they reject everything Jewish and Israel. They do not despise part of the nebula of Jews and Israel, but all of it, in its entirety.
The antijews who still call themselves “Jewish” are oxymoronic.
Doesn’t seem like there would be a lot of stress, reading teleprompters, flying cost free with multiple aids only to have to worry about vacationing and golfing. OH and a Country to bankrupt and destroy.
Sorry, I meant if one were to do the job properly.
But I get your point. :^)
I’m waiting for Jerry Rivers to slam the sandman for his “stinking anti-Semitic” comments, which he actually made, like he did Cruz for anti-Semitic comments he never made. Oh that’s right sandman is a liberal socialist so he’ll get a pass from Rivers.
Before WWII Jews in Europe generally fell into two camps: One were the Zionists who wanted to establish Israel, and the “Bundists” who were socialists who were diametrically opposed to establishing the State of Israel, because it would detract from their goal of establishing Socialism on the entire European continent.
It’s obvious which side Bernie is on.
Is he meshuginah? Isn’t he supposed to be Jewish? Oy, gevalt!
Boinie is Shtik drek!
