That is EXACTLY the type of statement I’d expect from Trump the smear merchant though! I’m just surprised he didn’t end it with, “And my my wife is a hotter piece of ass than yours, so there!”

Now we’ll wait and see how Trump recovers, if he does, and what momentum he really lost, and what new songs the establishment and media will start singing.

>> Except for 2 very recent pools (ARG & one other) showing Trump winning by 10%+ <<

Sorta interesting how a few enthusiastic fans of Mr. Trump were — only yesterday — writhing in orgasmic ecstasy over the results of that benighted ARG poll.

In fact, the ARG poll seems to have been interpreted by some of those gentle Trump fans as the final nail in the coffin (or the final torpedo in the bow) of the Cruise Ship Cruz.

Then we wake up today and see how the ARG poll was off by a “mere” 20+ percentage points. Wow!

Well, I guess it’s just a pity for ARG, the firm’s stakeholders and the blesséd Trump folks that reality can sometimes deliver a KO to the beautiful dream world of phantasmagorical Trumpistic fandom.

I can see oh how happy, happy mood, the globalist crony capitalist open borders “analysts” are today on the boob tube! “Build a wall, ha! Go away.”… “Trump and his criticism on the Ford plant in Mexico – he doesn’t understand how good this is for us” but now their agenda is safe! Great news for the Republican establishment and the globalists like their “task force” members Heidi Cruz. And the actual war, THE WAR ON WHITE MALES, moves forward! After all, Heidi is a “strong woman” selling us out for her own power and selling us out to the globalist agenda! Strong woman who want to get those evil white males, not including her own politician husband who I guess she considers is a Cuban so perhaps that doesn’t count as a “white male”.

Big day for the “white male” haters! Those evil white males and their “war on women” against “strong women” like Heidi Cruz! Well all you white males, you have been warned! You already are having all your jobs outsourced and sent over seas, all your factories and industry and commerce and et all sent to Mexico and elsewhere. Hillary or Heidi, these strong women are going to get you to clean toilets very soon.

Boy are the establishment types happy this morning! Trump and his wall – ha! Criticizing sending everything made of steel to Mexico except sending all their illiterates here to take jobs and eat away our social services that tax payers pay for – ha!

No way! No Wall! No nothing! Same old, same old! First Wisconsin the homeland of our BELOVED Paul Ryan, and now THE ENTIRE WORLD!

-- I think we can safely say, both our candidates (I'm a Cruzer) will not get the 1237 needed prior to the convention. --

How can it be a stunning blow when along the path to more than 1237 delegates Donald’s delegate mathematician Barry Bennett allowed for ZERO candidates to be picked up in Wisconsin, YET the Trump campaign will end up gaining 3 to 6 delegates?

The answer is this is media hype and it is to be expected. Ted Cruz will be doing his victory lap for Wisconsin all through the weekend but the back story is the Trump campaign picked up bonus delegates.

Cruz did well in Scott Walker’s state. But there’s nothing that has changed in him or his campaign that will differentiate him from Donald Trump. Nothing has changed except that Trump now has more delegates in his math than he expected.

The Trump campaign was smart. They knew Madison, Milwaukee and the corridor up to Green Bay were lost causes so they concentrated in the outlying Congressional Districts where they actually won votes and delegates.

Cruz supporters should savor their candidate’s victory this week. But ‘stunning blow’? No.

Not at all. Paul Ryan, not Ted Cruz, won Wisconsin yesterday.

Take away the densely populated (liberal) areas—where the Walker/Ryan establishment machinery rules—and Cruz loses.

Ted got 36 delegates and Trump got 6.

Ted has 514, needs 723 of the 839 available (86%) or 760 pledged (95%) to get 1237. That ain’t gonna happen, so his game is CONtesTED.

Trump has 759, needs 478 of the 839 available (57%) or 760 pledged (63%) to get 1237. He has a good chance of getting 1237.

To me the key is the incompetence of the Trump campaign. You would think that someone accustomed to running a business and “getting things done” would have a thorough understanding of the rules and the general process before beginning to try and achieve an objective.

What he has convincingly demonstrated is a lack of seriousness and general competency, at all levels of his organization. He is not a businessman, just a huckster.

With the Republican Governor, Speaker of the House and RNC Chairman plus every media figure endorsing him, it would only be “stunning” if he’d lost.

That’s the last of the establishment-dominated states. It’s all Trump from here on out.

>>If you want to talk math, the goal here is not for Cruz to get 1237, but to prevent Trump from getting 1237. That’s the math that counts. After that, it’s the second ballot that counts.

>>But why expect consistency from Trump supporters - too late to start that now!

If Trump was staying in the race to block Cruz from getting 1237 so the party could hand the nomination to a third person, would you be “consistent” in your support of such a strategy?

If Cruz does block Trump from winning and then gets the nomination, that’s great. But if he does this and they hand it to Kasich or Ryan or Romney, then what have we gained?

[full disclosure - Cruz supporter]

Stunning blow... really? More like chipped away at Trump’s lead.

The hyperbolic, breath taking, over the top Trump vs Cruz news cycle is really wearing thin.

I think it is conservatives and other Cruz Tea Party supporters that have said “NUTS” to the North East Rino/Yankee interloper.

The GOPe is just getting on board to have a seat at the table.

If Ted pulls this off....they won't even get a ticket to the convention. They came to him. He, and we did not come to them.

NUTS TO TRUMPNUTS.

Jedi.

He’s just playing the political game.

I think he’s mathematician enough to know that his window to 1237 closes pretty soon.

But, it is to his advantage to collect as many delegates as he can, EVEN IF it’s a losing effort.

I don’t think Trump is serious though. His goal is making sure Hillary does not face a viable conservative challenger. Ever notice how Trump always attacks conservatives but never liberals?
