“America’s privileged students at elite colleges and universities continue to be traumatized by speech they find “hurtful” and “threatening.””

I think it’s more of a psychosomatic condition brought on by their previous indoctrination. They’re not ‘actually’ traumatized, they’re just under the influence of liberalism.

The problem with these “snow flakes” (lets just call them flakes) is they have never had to live in the real world, take a low paying job to get by, walk or ride a bike instead of driving that sports car, etc., etc. It’s well time for them to grow up. If people would stop listening to their whining altogether, they would eventually go away and/or shut the hell up. Note to all the snowflakes: “Live with it, OK?”

I have one question for these paper tigers.

“Are you willing to shed your own blood to
defend what you believe?”

And if they say “No.”, send them to the hospital,
but tell them you are giving them another chance,
by not sending them to the morgue.

The “snowflakes” angle is very misleading. These are not just sensitive people with easily-hurt feelings. That’s just an act. They are little fascists, using fake tears as a way of forcing others to conform with their way of thinking. They are as cold-blooded as it gets.

My opinion is that they're heady with power. They're not traumatized at all.

They know they have found a way to shut up anyone they disagree with, and to shut down any position or viewpoint they disagree with. It's working. Of course they're going to continue to use this method.

What many think the snowflake movement is about - from the article:
“Finally, the common perception of these students as just spoiled, immature, entitled neurotics is only partly true. The real instigators of these incidents are savvy progressive student activists who know that most faculty agree with and support them, and that most administrators are careerist invertebrates fearful of bad publicity and blowback from trustees and the media. These student Alinskyites leverage photogenic protests and marches into academic lucre in the form of more scholarships, “research centers,” and faculty hires that will expand the progressive influence over the institution, especially over curricula, hiring, programs, admission criteria, and academic policy.”

What they are really about:
MONEY

This is generated by new academic programs on snowflake issues which in turn leads to reeducation programs all of which generate still more money for the Alinski elite. Which in turn will lead to reeducation for the rest of us ... after they build the camps ...

The observations in this article further confirm something I've believed for a long time:

The primary purpose of "higher education" in this country is to have colleges serve as expensive day care centers for people who are incapable of growing up.

They are not traumatized, and it is not psychosomatic.

It is simply a fake-out by radicals. The intention is to drive non-PC thought further into the shadows. A student who doesn’t believe the way the left does previously was reluctant to share his thoughts. Now, if he thinks that simply telling people what he believes may result in demonstrations against him and the faculty and even the deans getting involved, he will simply keep his mouth shut.

Of course, this prevents him from sharing his thoughts with others who may come to agree with him, and it prevents him from refining his own beliefs through the give-and-take of constructive conversation.

Don’t believe for a minute that any people other than mentally-ill fellow-travelers are traumatized by seeing a “Trump2016” or a raised hand in a public meeting. They are not.

The explanation for these delusional paranoids is easy- it’s the new marijuana they are smoking. 30% smoke the stuff regularly and 15% of those develop cannabis psychosis or about 5% of the total college population.

” Once a protected space for truth, independent thought, and free speech, now universities are training centers for left-wing cadres and commissars intolerant of political heresy and opposing points of view. “

They are not just intolerant of political heresy, it’s any deviation from extreme political correctness. These are dangerous people who some day soon will be climbing the political ladder to positions of power. They are the future red guard who given the opportunity will gladly put their opponents into a forced labor or extermination camp.

What happened at Missouri was completely fabricated by Several of the same Africans that burned and looted Ferguson.

A Harvard student recently told FOX News’ Meghan Kelly that displaying the American flag in a dorm room or just being in the same class with a pro-life student is hurtful and insensitive.

I would suggest this person lock themselves in a closet and never come out. They are incapable of dealing with life.

They don’t want to be protected.

They want control. They want to control what you are allowed to say.

I like that...”Snowflakes”
These millennials are so wacky that labeling them Snowflakes might be just the trick to snap them out of their superiority complex.

I wonder how these snowflakes would have survived the liberal college campus of the mid to late 1960s - their grandparents school.

Riots, police presence, Kent State and all of the student radical take overs. hen failing out of college meant most men faced a trip to Vietnam at government expense.

Oh excuse me. The colleges of today are the direct results to the student radicals who discovered that they had no jobs once they graduated. So, they went back to school and became department heads and administrators.
