Wednesday, April 6, 2016, beginning at 7:00 PM EDT, GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Bethpage, NY at Grumman Studios. With two weeks to go until the New York primary on April 19, this will be Mr. Trump’s first campaign event in his home state of New York.
Bethpage is a hamlet located on Long Island within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States, as well as a census-designated place with borders slightly different from those of the hamlet. Population: 16,429.

On a better note, I just saw that his NY organization is massive.
He is quite serious about sweeping all 99 delegates in NY.
These delegates will NOT get pried away from Trump even on 3rd or 4th ballot.
I think Cruz or anyone else will have a harder time getting to 1237 than we imagine.

Yes, it’s interesting he’s going to DC when he was just there about a week ago to meet with his security team and also with Reince.
BTW - Cruz is supposed to meet with Guiliani in NY today. Rudy hasn’t endorsed but has spoken very highly of Trump and seems to like at least some of his policies. I suspect Cruz, rather than Rudy, requested the meeting.
There were a couple of articles on the “disarray” within the Trump camp this morning and Cruz “gaining ground” - shesh, he’s still behind Trump and he didn’t gain that many delegates in WI (though I heard he got some in CO and ND). Here’s one:

I ventured to other threads yesterday and after reading them noticed that 90% of the posts were a waste of time reading. It would be cool if Trump supporters and Cruz supporters could be identified by color. Cruz posters would have blue names while Trump’s have red. That way one could just quickly skim the thread and read informative posts.

He is. Just snagged the former chair of the Indiana Republican Party to lead the effort in that state, and got Carly Fiorina’s state director on board as well. This has Manafort all over it. They met yesterday and I think Manafort gave him the ultimatum that for him to do his job properly, Trump needs to pay up for the organization for him to close the deal.

I’m glad Trump is listening to people and will change gears when needed. Corey is a trusted man and I’m sure Mr. Manafort will gain trust in Donald if there’s trust there. Donald doesn’t quickly throw one aside at a whim and that’s good. P. Manafort will have to earn trust before he steps up. I think its smart of Donald because we all see how Cruz has been blinded by all the establishment men claiming they are working FOR Cruz. There’s nothing wrong with caution.
Several people Newt included said Donald listens to the people around him and takes their advise often. Newt says it may look like Donald does things on impulse but its totally the opposite.
It’s from 10:30-12:30 - is he really going to speak to them for 2 hours???!!! Hopefully, there will be other speakers during that time - maybe iCarly?

Morning everybody. Seeing the threads this morning g along with the news. Those posters and media people surely are beside themselves. After the constant, day in day out barrage of negative press these past weeks, they still can’t knock Trump out. And he still is on track to 1237. I almost feel sorry for them........naw.
Outside of the purple finger (one vote per person, guaranteed) I’m not sure what we can do.

You are welcome. I should add that these rallies have not been confirmed through the Trump campaign. A person living in Rochester, NY, apparently saw the Trump advance team scouting out locations in Rochester. I’m not sure if he engaged anyone from the team, or how he came about the info. This- from the poster NYGuy54 at TCT. Nothing up about DJT at Eventbrite.
FOX News is reporting DJT will be in DC attending meetings regarding policy issues and gaining further support on Capitol Hill for the remainder of this week.
